Glenn didn't know where he was, what he was doing before, or even what was about to happen. Everything was a mysterious shadowy haze all around him, and the first thought that came to mind was that it was all just a dream. He took a single, hesitant step forward and paled slightly as he looked down at his leg. It was vivid; The solidity of the floor, the cold temperature running through the air, it all felt real. He looked ahead and around, and he tried to call out to someone. Opening his mouth, he came to the sudden realization that the only noise that left his oral cavity was blank noise.
His attention was all over the place, studying the sensations he felt all around him, but it soon snapped back to one place after a strange noise was heard. It was nowhere to be seen, but it felt... Close. It was almost like scrapping. He walked towards the noise slowly, the noise progressively getting louder and louder, much faster than he walked. Taking a shaky breath, Glenn slowed down his movement forward until it came to a complete stop, and his eyes progressively widened more and more, the noise continuing to get louder and louder. His walk forward turned into backpedaling, until his back hit a wall. 'Where did that wall come from?', he wanted to ask himself, but his mind was immediately set on the direction he was facing.
Slowly, but surely, the noise was ear-piercingly loud, and soon, a shadowy shape was seen in the near distance. Glenn was officially horrified, his skin ghastly pale and his eyes the size of pinpoints as he pressed up more and more against the wall. His head began shaking as the muted boy was jumped at. Everything went to black, even himself, as the scraping sound began sounding more and more distant. The faint noise of crunching, squishing and swallowing was heard in the distance, and it didn't take much for Glenn to realize what was happening. However, it wasn't happening to him, it seemed. Once again, everything faded to black, almost abruptly.
