Spock x reader

I smile at the half Vulcan across the table and act shocked "So you have never had chocolate?" He shakes his head " Why are you so shocked? " I grin "I do believe Commander that you are the first person I have met tonever have eaten any chocolate." He still looks confused and I roll my eyes. My brother Jim walks over and sits down "What's with the face Spock? " he hugs me lightly before turning back to Spock who says "Your sister is amazed that I have never consumed the human substance chocolate."

Kirk raises an eyebrow "Really?" Spock nods and Jim stands up walking out the room "Where's he going I wonder?" Spock clasps his hands together on the table "I do believe the logical explanation is that he went to find some chocolate." I smile "Of course you have a logical explanation." He raises an eyebrow "And this surprises you? " I shake my head and Kirk reappears holding a small packet.

He hands it to Spock "Eat." Spock opens it and takes a bite " I do believe that in human terms it is enjoyable. " I laugh slightly and roll my eyes "Just don't eat too much or you will feel sick." Kirk nudges me with his elbow " I thought you were an engineer, not a doctor. " I smile "I am, but I am going of you when we were seven and it was Halloween." Kirk looks shocked " Okay that was one time! " Spock raises a brow "May I ask Captain, what happened?" I grin " The good captain was convinced he could eat the entire box of sweets mainly chocolate because it was Halloween! It did not end well."

I glance at my watch and stand up kissing Kirks cheek "I have to return to my shift." I walk out and head to the turbo lift going back down to the engineering deck. "Hey Scotty, what do you need me to do?" The Scot smiles " There's a couple of faulty panels up on the bridge, "I smile "On it." He nods " thanks lass, see you later. " I grab my tools and head up to the bridge. I smile at Uhura before sliding under one of the faulty panels and getting to work.

"How've you been Y/N?" I glance at Uhura before turning back to the sparking wires " I'm good, you? " "Very well, how are things with Spock?" I frown " Why do you ask? " I can practically see her smirk as I continue fixing the panel "Well it's obvious that he likes you, always trying to spend time with you. And every time there is an engineering incident he always tenses until he knows that you are safe."

I finish fixing the panel and push myself out from underneath the desk looking at Uhura "How does that prove that he likes me?" She grins " Y/N you are my best friend, why would I make this up? " I shrug and move over to the next faulty panel. It doesn't take long to fix and I stand walking over to Uhura "Anything else that needs fixing while I'm here?" She shakes her head and the door opens revealing Kirk. I smile and walk into the lift heading back down to engineering.

When the lift opens I find Scotty leaning on one of the main panels grinning widely. I put my tools away and walk over "What's put you in such a good mood?" He shrugs and smiles " You can take the rest of the day off if you want. " I raise an eyebrow "Really?" He nods and I nod "Thank you, call if you need anything." I get back into the lift and head to my quarters. The door is unlocked and I grab my phaser from my pocket before entering. Inside I find Spock laying on the sofa mumbling to himself.

I put the phaser away and walk over "Commander are you alright?" He stands with surprising speed and nods " I am fine thank you, I just tripped over your sofa. " I nod and walk over to my padd checking that I have no messages "Y/N?" I turn " Yes. " he looks confused for a second then says "I have strong urges, urges t-to well umm." " Spock are you sure your alright? " he nods and steps forward stumbling slightly "What was I saying?" I smile and lead him back to the sofa pushing him gently so that he sits down.

He starts mumbling to himself again and I take out my communicator and say "Y/N to Bones come in." There is a pause then his voice comes through "What is it Y/N?" I pause " There appears to be something wrong with Mr Spock. " he sighs "What is it?" " Well he appears to have trouble talking, he is clumsy and at the moment he is mumbling to himself. " he grunts then says "Bring him to the medbay." I nod " I'll be right there. "

Gently I place a hand on Spock's arm "Come on I'm taking you to the medbay." He stands and nods " That sounds delightful. " I roll my eyes and walk out the door leading Spock to the lift. Inside he just stares at the wall "Going to medbay is not logical, there is nothing wrong with either of us." I smile and the door opens " You and your logic, come on. "

We exit the lift and go down the corridor into Bones's office where he is sitting behind his desk. I smile brightly "Hi Bones, sorry to bother you but Mr Spock is acting strange." Spock stumbles forward and nods at Bones " Doctor I do not see, see why I am here. " he stumbles again and grabs onto my arm for support. I raise an eyebrow at Bones and he nods "Let me get my scanner." Spock sits on one of the examination tables and Bones reappears "Lay back Spock." He does as told and stares at the ceiling " Bones what is the logical explanation for why I am here? "

I grin and Bones frowns "Spock have you had something high in sugar recently?" I nod " he had chocolate at lunch. " Bones grins "Well the high sugar seems to have affected his brain and nerves system. It will pass in a couple of hours and he probably won't remember anything. Your both free to go." I nod " Thanks Bones. " Spock sits up and follows me out of the room. I enter the turbo lift and he leans against the wall slouching slightly "Y/N," I raise an eyebrow and he continues "You look blurry."
