Back at grace field the children at the orphanage are cleaning up from dinner,
Everyone except Ray, who was in the infirmary, ice pack on his left foot after trying to chase one of the younger orphans who happened to steal the book he was reading at the time.
To waste time Ray would do the same thing he would always read, as he was reading he started to hum the lullaby his mother did (Spoilers)
As he was humming, Anna Who was passing by heard the beautiful melody down the hall,
Ray continued to do he was doing until he heard a knock coming from the door he assume it was Norman and Emma came back to give him company to signal them he stopped humming but to his surprise it turned out to be Anna (Not too obvious)
"Need something Anna?"
Ray asked in his same boring voice
"Not At all I was just seeing if mama was in here"
Anna approached Ray with her same smile
"I haven't seen Mama in a short while"
Ray answered back
Anna stood there a little while longer looking at the wall moving from her heals to her tippy toes while standing, Ray started to feel a little irritated
"Want Something Else"
Ray questioned
"Maybe...." Anna spoke still staring at the wall before shooting a quick glance to Ray who still stared right at Anna,
"Okay you've got me caught me red handed I'm just want to see if your ankle has finished healing" Anna says she Stares right back to Ray
"Fine by me" Ray answered again in casual tone, Anna went to where his ankle is and lifts off the ice pack looking back to Ray To See If his reaction would of changed to her expectations he just stayed the same, the swelling went down
"How about you get up and try to move a few steps" Anna asserted, Ray nodded in return
Ray slowly got up managed to get his balance correct and moved a little, Anna thought to make things less awkward she decided to start conversation "The Song you were humming too, that's the lullaby Mama usually hums too"
Ray first took note of what Anna but shrugs it off not wanting to explain
Ray thought he was getting the hang of walking on his own or he thought, Anna Who was now sitting on the side of the bed keeping Ray in check, Ray Felt unsteady and lost his balance before falling it felt like time stopped for a moment, Anna Who magically appeared in front of Ray arms around his back restraining him from hitting the ground head in his chest,
Anna lifted her head up all smiles like always and said to him "Ray I think your ankle needs more time to heal"
Right now Ray started feeling a little flustered not the type of flustered you can obviously tell but a tint of red and two he never had to Been this close to a girl face to face I mean with Emma they never have their face this close before, Ray snapped back into reality gathering his thoughts "Appreciate it Anna" All he was able to say
"No need to thank me, only looking out for one of my siblings" her smile even wider than before, Anna slowly got Ray back on his bed she got a new ice pack and placed on Ray's left foot, Ray letted Out a big sigh to see Anna adjusting the placement of the ice pack he placed his arm over his eyes and said to himself "I guess I owe you something now" Showing a bit of a grin
"Alright" Anna Said Who was standing where Ray's Head is now hearing the few words he conveyed, Ray immediately took his arm off his eyes showing a confused expression Anna took note of his expression and replied "I mean if your willing to you don't have too" Anna expressed looking a bit embarrassed "No, No you just took me by surprise name something you need help with I'll come and help" Ray announced to her showing a little spark of happiness
"I'll remember that just try to not to get yourself injured again" Anna mentioned soon they saw Phill who was standing at the door
"Anna, Nat And Gilda are looking for you"
Phill Said ( Looking like the cute self He is)
"Thanks for letting me know Phill go tell them I'll be there in a moment" Anna added
Phill just did a simple nod before closing the door again
"Hopefully the ankle gets better, love to use that favour of yours" in a joking matter
"Thanks Anna" Ray Did once more
As Anna headed towards the door before leaving "Don't Thank me Silly" Anna left leaving Ray in deep thought for the rest of the night.
