Shinkou is a young boy living with his friend, Aiko, and his family. Truth is, they are the only people who accept him. An event that happened many years ago in the past, an individual with the power of the scroll of light and sculpting, attacked hundreds of villages within 10 mile radius from the main village of Nozomu. It caused great depression across the land and many migrated else where. Suddenly one day, a tree atop a hill was struck with lightning and after observation, an infant was found in the tree towards the top, right where the bolt struck. This was theorized to be the work of the man and everyone despized the boy until this day. Aiko and his family accepted to take him in. The council told citizens to respect him, but of course people didnt listen, but did agree to erase the past from thier memory.
Shinkou and Aiko didnt bother with school, for they too wanted these inhuman scrolls. They trained all day, everyday starting at the age of 4. Both of them are still healthy and young at age 10. They hike, swim, fish, and rockclimb. They would do anything to get a scroll on their hands and no one could stop them either.
They attended a Karate class, when Shinkou and Aiko where permanent parteners because everyone avoided them. Today is a special day for the two. They are earning their black belts and venturing off on their journey to locate these ancient scrolls. Shinkou is dedicated to finding the scroll of immortality, while Aiko is fixed on obtaining any scroll they can get their hands on. Although everyone called them weak and made fun of them, they were both hands down the strongest two in class. On top of that, they finished their black belt test without breaking a sweat. Their Sensei, Tanaka Fumashi, respected them and was is the only reason they are allowed in the Dojo. Shinkou gets bullied daily but holds back his anger. He wants to release his rage on the village but held back. Why would he? Show them who you are! No, he will prove him self one day, one day...
