Contorted History

Unplanned Audition

                The man clears off the stage of the performers (two little people and a strange, very pale man with white hair) and intriduces himself.

        "This girl came into our freakshow," he said, "by Creature and George's invitation.  What's your name, miss?"

        I blush, and look at my bare feet - I'm barefoot?? where the fuck are my shoes??? - and then look up.

        "Siobhan Grey," I say, smiling, "and this is my kitten, Olive."

        "Well, it's lovely to meet you, Siobhan! My name is Todd Ray," the man - Todd - replies.  "You said you were able to do a triple fold? Would you be willing to show us that now?"

        I nod. "Sure! Let me just..." I begin taking off my high-waisted shorts and tee shirt, revealing an equally high-waisted bikini.  I can't help but notice the pale man's eyes go wide as I unbuttoned my shorts.  I also can't help but feel more than a few eyes on my ample busom.

        Todd looks at me.  "I don't want to offend you, Miss Grey, but not many contortionists have that-"

        "I am a helluva lot more curvy than most contortionists, and I know it.  And I am proud of it!" I interject, grinning as I slowly bent backwards into a bridge position, then move my chest onto the floor.  I let my bum rest on my head for a moment, then move my feet into a pointe position, sliding them back so that my shins rest on the floor.

        My audience's eyes go wide and a great cheer comes up from the crowd.  The pale man smiles, clapping.

        I unknot myself from this position quite gracefully and stand up, bowing demurely.

        "You're just what we need for the freakshow.  Would you be interested in joining our strange family?" Todd asks, his voice full of hope.

        I pretend to think for a moment, giving the pale man a sly wink.  "It would be a dream come true!" I reply, beaming.

        Todd laughs, and hugs me. "Welcome to the family, Siobhan!"

        He then introduces me to the rest of my newfound family.  Theres Creature and George, of course, and Asia and Pheonix, Todd and Danielle's kids; Amazing Ali and Wee Matt, the smallest married couple in California; Jessa the bearded lady; and finally, the strange pale man.  His name is Morgue.
