Its weird to think its over.
A class that was supposed to succeed now left to pick up the pieces.
People from all walks of life left in shambles.
Memories are weird.
A number.
A switch.
A name on paper.
All bring them flowing back.
An opening door.
A name.
A single chair.
His best friend is broken.
His girlfriend still can't heal.
His people will never be the same.
What to do now?
Now that he is gone.
To fill his place makes my stomach turn,
And yet I feel I must.
A right hand man.
A shoulder to lean on.
A voice in the crowd.
How to move on?
As the light slowly dims.
A place that once offered safety to me now becomes a prison.
Around every corner I look for him.
In every room I search.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Hoping he'll return.
