And then I can tell myself

What the hell am I supposed to do ...

The day of her twenty-first birthday Adora spent the time in her apartment. She decided not to commit the act of drinking alcohol until she lost consciousness like her other friends. She didn't want to feel how those toxins ran through her body and made her lose consciousness, much less throw up, one of the most unpleasant sensations she could experience while drunk. Adora threw out almost everyone in her comfort zone, used the biggest sports shorts she found and turned on the TV to watch movies on Netflix, as how bitter she really was, or what she intended to be. Adora didn't want them to play with her again.

Twenty-one years was a short period of time compared to the eternity that would come later. Sigh, a little tired to be honest, the game of basketball, in addition to going to the gym and having to throw everyone who was in her apartment, now was tired and moody. Adora had to admit that she felt bad about running towards Bow and Glimmer, but she was so angry that she didn't care what came out of her mouth at that moment. Fortunately, the two were not resentful, much less Glimmer, she could be much more the son of bitch in her vocabulary and the things between both of them estil the same. Adora's thoughts were eliminated after an impact on the back of her neck, she scared the young woman, who quickly got up from the sofa and put herself almost in combat mode, today more than ever that kind of personal defense would help her.

-Hey Adora ~ -

That voice, she could say that she was crazy for that and not in a bad way, maybe her day wouldn't be just watching movies while hugging a pillow. Her shoulders relaxed when she saw that chestnut in front of her. Clarise, Clarise Smith, or for Catra friends, a nickname of which no one knew its origin, but with which the chestnut felt more comfortable being called to the point of preferring that than her real name.

The one with heterochromatic eyes continued its progress, making Adora nervous, although she tried to show a face that everything didn't matter, she didn't want to act like a fool in front of her crush / friend who had barely discovered recently. Who would say that the young blonde will like women.

A playful smile appeared on Catra's face, her eyes showed liveliness and a dark touch. Something was coming, which would make her feel ashamed. Adora sensed it. -"Were you waiting for the party She-Ra? " - Catra put her arm around the girl's shoulders, Bingo! She knew she would say something like that. Adora replied with a growl.

-"It was my first and last party with alcohol, and I wasn't the only one who behaved in a childish way" - she wrinkled her nose in the form of a stew, looking somehow to have an effect on it, unfortunately that did not work. Oh that was what she believed.

- "At least I did not make a sword with cans of beer that will then stick to my hand"-. Catra attacked the chestnut again.

-"Ouch.."-

Adora felt her cheeks burn with shame, decided not to say another word about it, accepted her defeat quickly before she said anything more embarrassing. She was still wondering how Catra was her crush, maybe the reason was that she is athletic, daring, with a good sense of humor, very beautiful and, to hell, she would never have doubts about why.

Catra pats the blonde in the form of comfort in the back: "Take it easy and what will you do for your birthday?" - questioned with any doubt.

Adora shrugged, really her plans were not to leave the apartment, she wouldn't count her laziness in front of Catra, that was already too evident with the fact that she was in those clothes. Adora removed the chestnut arm from her shoulders and lay down on the couch. Her hand invited the other girl to accompany her on the couch. The opposite agreed, settling to the side of the blonde, who felt her heart racing. She cursed herself internally for her feelings.

- "Oh I almost forgot"- Catra suddenly spoke, taking her hand to one of the bags of her jacket. - "Happy birthday" -

Adora took in her hands the small box offered by Catra. He saw it carefully and then opened it, Adora smiled when she saw the necklace inside and a couple of tickets of which she didn't know what they were for. She tried to believe that it was for the cinema, although knowing Catra, it would be the opposite.

.- "Thanks for the necklace, it's very pretty" -

- "I hope, besides you're gonna use it tonight" -

- "huh?" -

- "The tickets are for a dance" - Catra smiled when she saw Adora confused, she liked that facet of the blonde, giving an explanation before the blonde girl can protest or said something - "Don't think it's the typical university where you get drunk ...., that parties are calmer "-

- "What time is it?" -

- "I will pass for you at 10:00, so look something nice to wear "-

-" The same I say for you Catra ..., suit or dress? "-

-" I think you know the answer "- Chestnut rose from the couch. Adora imitated her action. - "you will get your hair down" - Catra demanded.

- "Why?" - Adora smiles a little for the authoritarian tone of the opposite.

- "Let's say I like to see you with loose hair, well I'm leaving now" -

Catea left a kiss on the cheek of the blonde and left the apartment before Adora could react, and get out of that little bubble.

Adora felt her cheeks burned, carefully touching the cheek where she had received that kiss. Adora wondered how silly she put her face and if Catra had noticed. Grumpy with herself, she hated that attitude, she had to calm down and control herself, that had only been a farewell and nothing else, it was necessary to keep in mind that Catra had only had relations with pretty people, not like her.

She sighed heavily, her mind wandering into thousands of thoughts intended for a single person, even though she will try not to think so much about it.

- "Oh Catra! What have you done to me? I feel more bipolar than when I am in my days ..., why did I have to fall in love with you?" -

She threw herself on the couch and hugged one of the cushions. She would have more time later to get ready and go to the dance. Her night would be fun after all.

...Take me back to the night we met.
