The last shape shifter

Chapter 1

Once there was a shapeshifter. Her name was Ruby. Ruby thought she was the last one of her kind. One day ruby went out to hunt she saw a little hut. Ruby went to go check it out. When Ruby got close to the hut she heard a noise it sound like to animals running around in the hut. Ruby looked through the window and she saw a cat and dog running around. The dog looked over then Ruby hide in the bush and turned into a wolf pup. The dog and cat went outside to see what it was then Ruby ran into the hut and tried to quickly shut the door but the dog noticed and ran at her. The dog asked her what she was doing in there hut. Ruby said nothing. Then Ruby ran and hide. The cat and dog chased after her. When they finally got to her she was in her cave. Then Ruby said "please go away I'm scared that y'all will hurt me." "We won't if u tell us why u where at our hut."said the dog. Then Ruby came out of her hiding place. Got a good look at the cat and dog and said "I was at y'all's hut because it's been a while since I seen a hut. So I wanted to check it out." "Oh ok, well my name is Jason and her name is Chloe." Jason said. (Jason is the dog and Chloe is the cat) " my name is Ruby nice to meet you Jason and Chloe. By the way can Chloe talk?" Said Ruby. "Yes, I can talk!" Said Chloe. Then they walked back to Jason and Chloe's hut. They ate some food then Ruby went back to her cave for the night. The next day Ruby went to their hut to find it messy on the inside. Ruby went into the hut to find a note on the table. Ruby grabbed the note and went outside. The note said: We are very sorry. Don't come looking for us we are ok and we hope they don't find you so you might want to go back to your cave and hide so they can't ever find you. So you don't have any questions no we are not the same type of shape shifter as you but we where still happy to see that were not the only kind of shape shifter. Ruby ran back to her cave with the note falling out of her hand. After awhile Ruby started to smell fresh meat. Then Ruby turn into a little bird so she could not smell the meat and not get hungry. Then Ruby  heard footsteps coming.  She flew up and hide. The thing that was coming was "Jason and Chloe what... wait!" Ruby said. Then something grabbed her. Ruby pecked at it then it took her out of her cave then put her on the ground. "Ow, Ruby what was that for come on that really hurt." The person said. "Is can't be happening. I thought you were gone for good. Mom I missed you!" Rudy said. "Shhhh their here we have to be as quiet as possible ok." Eva said. (Eva is Ruby's moms name)
