It was exactly 06:00, and the snowy haired female woke up to the sound of her phone alarm blaring in her ear. She wasn't necessarily a morning person, but she was always a daydreamer whether she was tired or not.

Often she had her head full of fantasies of being in a magical universe, with creatures from myths and legends she's been told. She'd always dreamed of seeing some, but of course, that's just absurd. It's obvious why they're just legends, they've never been truly spotted or even have as much as one piece of evidence they exist.

This girl was Noel Kyoka, a snowy white haired sixteen year old girl with pale skin and cloudy blue eyes. She looked as though she were a child of the winter, and she often dressed like it as well. She loved the cold season, especially since her birthday was in it.

She was born on the 31st of December, just about a week after Christmas and a couple hours before New Years. She kicked off the blue sheets off of her and sat up, her eyes already looking faraway and distracted. When she was younger, she was found to have a type of eye condition that matched her eyes to the sky. If it was cloudy, there would be fluffy white and gray spotting the bright blue of her eyes, if it was raining, she would find herself with tears trickling down her face until the rain stopped.

Noel often wished she could meet people with quirks like hers; eye conditions, abnormal features, but people like that were so rare she never could. She yawned as she stood up from her bed, stretching as she advanced towards her vanity dresser. She dressed herself in a light blue sleeveless dress, soft white gloves that reached her elbows, and a bright brown pair of knee-high boots. She walked out of her room after brushing out her ankle-length hair and putting it up into a messy bun.

Noel realized that it was July 17th, in which she didn't have class. She must have absent-mindedly set her alarm the night before. Instead of going back to sleep, the snowy haired female stepped into the library of her house. Her parents were quite wealthy, and owned a large house with a library in the basement. She wasn't as snobbish or greedy as people made her out to be, but she did have quite expensive taste.

Noel sat down on a beanbag chair, pulling a nameless book off the shelf. It seemed strange -- there was no cover picture or title to the book so she had gotten quite curious about it. She lightly brushed her small hand over the hard cover of the book, then opening it up to the first page. She raised an eyebrow. It was completely blank. She began flipping through the entire book, each page just as blank as the last.

As she watched the pages flip by, she found her vision fizzing out. Black spots clouded her vision, and she felt her grasp on reality slip away from her. The book lay wide open on her lap as she finally fell unconcious, a soft glow emitting from the pages.
