"Esma you never do anything remotely bad so why would you want to go to this party tonight?" Esma's cheeks puffed up and stared at her friends Tracy and Marcella. "Because you guys are always going to parties without me and I'm sick of it at least ask me so I could say no" Marcella sighed heavily looking at her "It'll be a waste of time but we have to go the bell is going to ring." Tracy tagged along with Marcella to their English III class. Esma took a deep breath making her way towards her locker. She paused in her step hearing a large thump she glanced at a situation behind her. "James please I'll pay you back next week I swear!" She watched as one of the heaviest of the jocks get tossed against the wall. He sunk down on to be repeatedly kicked in his stomach by a slimmer and yet much more frightening male. He kneeled down gripping his throat "You said that last week. Am I joke to you? Do I look like a fucking joke?" He spits in his face punching him across his face knocking teeth from his mouth he held back his fist "P-Please James I promise I'll get you your money please I just need more time." James dropped him and stared down at him "One more week if you don't have my money I'll see how well you play when I break your kneecap. Now get the fuck out of here" He looked at Esma who stood there in fear. He quickly walked up to pinning her against the window seal. "You didn't see anything you hear me? Keep your mouth shut and go about your day good girl." Esma breath fastened "I-I'm not a good girl." James laughed and begin back away from her "That's cute I know everyone in this school and you are such a good girl I have never heard or seen you sent to the principal's office once. Hell the geeks gets sent to the office more than you do." he laughed walking off to the school exit.
Esma stood there, her books clenched to her chest thinking 'Have I never been bad? I need help from someone who knows being bad inside and out. That no one messes with yet everyone knows.' She was snapped out of her train of thought by the late bell. She quickly rushed to her English III class only to open the door finding the teacher leaning against the desk staring at her. She felt a surge of nervousness flush over him. She gently pushed strains of hair out her face. The teacher stood up straight adjusting his glasses "Esma you're late. Care to tell the class why you're late?" Esma shifted in her place holding her books to her chest. "She probably stopped to the bathroom Mr. Sanders" Marcella stated looking at her friend struggling. "No! I mean no that's not what happened. I had to talk to someone" Mr. Sanders raised his eyebrow at his top student. "Who would that be?" Esma looked at Mr. Sanders shuffling "My boyfriend. H-He wanted to tell me about a personal matter and I can't say no to him." Mr. Sanders sighed heavily "Alright Esma if it was that important I'm sure you wouldn't have missed class for it." Esma went to her seat and slowly sweat as the clock ticked by only to realize who she should talk to. The bell rung and she went down to lunch to find James. He was in the cafeteria sitting atop of the table with his gang around him. She took a deep breathe walking up to him. His smile quickly turned to a serious expression once he seen her approach his table. "Well Well is the good girl here to tell me to get off the table or do you want something?" Esma took a deep looking at him "I need to talk business with you alone." James looked at his gang getting up "Heh fine. Let's go talk outside good girl" he stood up wrapping his arm around her shoulder leading her outside.
Esma was nervous when they was in front of the window for everyone to see. "So what does the good girl want from the well-known gangster?" Esma looked at him "I want- I-I want for you to pretend date me so I can prove to my friends that I can be bad aswell." James looked around leaning against the wall looking inside. "I don't know what's in it for me." Esma shuffled looking at him "W-What do you want?" James stroked his chin returning his gaze back to her "Money is good let's say five hundred dollars for my services." Esma stiffened up looking at him with discourage "I-I don't have that kind of money." James sighed heavily standing up straight "Well that's too bad I don't do anything unless I get something in return." Esma felt desperate and grabbed his wrist "Please I need this I'll do anything." James grew a crooked smile "Anything huh? Heh okay how about after this ordeal is over you let me do anything I please to you that's my final offer." Esma turned bright red in the face "But I'd never done anything like that before.." He lightly chuckled "I wasn't expecting you to that's why it's gonna be so much fun babe" he wrapped his arms around her shoulder bringing her inside. He sat with his gang members and pulled Esma onto his lap. It caused everyone to stare. "Well look at that James got himself a new squeeze how long you think this one going to last? Two, Three weeks?" James eyed down at his gang member "Shut it Eric this is going to be a bit more of a long term thing." The gang laughed a bit watching as James brought Esma closer to his body. James gently whispered into her ear "I'm going to do something that you might not like but it's going to signal to everyone that we're a item so relax and go with the flow." Esma began to tense a bit feeling James gently pull her chin to him. He gently locked lips with her feeling a bit of resistance from her. Esma realized what she was doing and forced herself to relax. She brought him a bit closer by his shirt bringing him in for a deeper kiss. Everyone stared a bit including her friends Marcelle and Tracy who couldn't believe their eyes.
