*Author's notes* Time skip 8 years. Taylor is now 17.
Taylor was sat on her bed with a Gallifreyan book in her hand. Flicking through it she hummed a lullaby that River sang to her when she was a small girl to get her to sleep. She ran her finger along the circular patterns on the pages. The Doctor knocked on the door then walked in 'you should be asleep, sweetheart' he walked over. Taylor looks up at him 'i can't sleep' 'why?' he sits down. 'Bad dreams again...' Taylor sighs and laid back. She'd been suffering from nightmares for awhile now and it always seemed to be the same dream but she told no one what they we're about. All The Doctor could think of was it was something to do with The Silence as when she a baby they toke her. Luckily he and River got her back within a couple of days and some hard work. Since then Taylor had always been frightened of The Silence, it was probably the only thing she was frightened of so it was the only thing her father could think what these dreams we're about.
Taylor shook her head 'it's just me being childish. it doesn't matter' 'thats all you keep saying. Of course it matters.' He moved closer. 'Seriously, it doesn't' Taylor smiled a little. 'Fine... but remember I'm always here to talk to' The Doctor kissed her forehead then leaves the room, worried but thats natural.
Taylor curled up with her blankets and glances at the corner of the dark room then quickly looks away in fright. Her eyes flashed a dark black for a second then returned to the normal sparkling blue as she turned away.
A couple of days later The Doctor and his wife were sat in the console room of the TARDIS chatting when Taylor skips down the staircase 'tick tock goes the clock' she sang as she headed down the stairs. Both The Doctor and River went quiet and looked at Taylor. She smiled slightly at them 'What?' 'How do you know that song?' River sounded panicked. 'I'm not to sure... I just do. Why? Is there a problem?' Taylor slowly went quiet. 'You can't remember?' River sounded even more panicked. 'No...?' Her daughter frowned. The Doctor quickly got up and hurried to pull the scanner that hung of the gold, glowing console and typed in all sorts of things into it. Taylor watched, still frowning 'What are you-' She was cut off by her father 'River, look! There! She her?!' River studied the screen 'see what...?' She stood by her husband and watched the fuzzy screen 'I can't see. It's to fuzzy,' not noticing Taylor had just been swiftly snatched from under her parents noses. Thats when everything took a turn for the worse. When everything started to fall apart for that impossible family.
