Me and my mother were sitting in our house happy for the fact that father finally has a job and he is helping our country by working in the factories. We hear a knock on our door my mom goes to answer it but i put my hand out to stop her i open a door to see a female german officer around the same age as me. She smiles at me "hello 'mam how are you today" I smile back at her and pull a strand of my back hair behind my ear"i am doing well how about you". Her smile widens as she looks around what she can see of my house. "well I assume that you have heard that in each home a German officer will be staying with you to make sure that all the people around the country is safe and i was the officer assigned to stay in this home." I look at her with wide eyes and move out of the way quickly her smile drops when i say "terribly sorry 'mam you must think I have no manners huh it won't happen again" her smile returns as she puts her had on my shoulder " you have nothing to be sorry about you did nothing wrong" she looks to the side a little looking almost guilty I paid no mind to it.

I led her into the house and greets my mother telling her why she is here my mother happily let her stay. When my father returned from another tiring day at the factories my mother explained why there was a random woman in the house. he accepted her with open arms when it was time for dinner, she sat next to me and we started to talk mainly about men. Though I had no interest in men that was looked down upon here. I couldn't help but stare at her face as she talked she was a beautiful with blond hair and blue eyes and plump lips i couldn't help but think of how soft the would be to kiss...i shake my head to get those thoughts out of my head.i look away from her my face red. I glance back at her after a few minutes to see her looking at me with her head tilted "Are you OK Amelia your face is red are you sick". I quickly shake my head "no no no I was just thinking of... something". I knew I shouldn't have said that she's smirking at me now "or are you thinking of someone" I choke on air when those words left her lips "hahaha I'm just kidding don't worry" I laugh with her if only she knew...
