It was a peaceful day in the kingdom of Evernia. The sun was shining brightly in the summer sky, barely a white cloud to be seen. It was almost scorching hot but that did not deter the energy of the people. The citizens went about their days without a care in the world as if a giant weight was lifted off their shoulders and no longer had the world crushing them.

It was to be expected, after all. After years of constant war between the kingdom of Evernia and the Empire of Baekjie, the two royalty of their respective cities finally came to a peace agreement, or rather a non-aggression pact. They created the promise that they were not to invade the other or involve themselves in the other's affairs, domestic or international.

The people of Evernia were filled with joy and happiness upon hearing the success of the peace treaty. It was said their cheers of celebration reached the highest clouds and their festival was heard throughout the world, reaching the farthest kingdom. It was named Peace Day.

Even after days of the festival, the citizens were still on cloud nine. Years of fighting and constant terror of destruction had put them all on edge. It was a breath of air for them to be finally free of war.

The King of Evernia, Lupin Legume the First, sat in his throne room. He was resting on his majestic throne as he listened to his chancellor report about the domestic affairs of the country. He stopped listening after the chancellor unintentionally summarized the state of the kingdom before he began to specify why. "Your highness. From the reports I received from our officials, our economy is thriving and the people are happy." Is where he stopped listening. That was all he needed to hear.

He too was filled with happiness. He no longer had to prepare for war, tell his soldiers to fight a useless war trapped in a stalemate, or tell his citizens that their friends and family died in the war.

Finally. He can finally rule his kingdom peacefully without war getting in the way of their growth. He could lead his people to prosperity and not towards a battle with his sword in hand anymore. He could take care of his wife and work towards raising a family now without risking his children growing up in an era of warring.

Lupin sat peacefully in his throne as his chancellor feebly continued his report, his words ignored. However, what the king did not ignore was the sounding of a powerful horn. This greatly startled the king and the chancellor. The chancellor's face paled with fear, his hands shaking. He was in shock. The king immediately got off his throne and quickly dashed outside of his castle, running past his aged chancellor. His servants quickly caught up after him to hand him his trusted broadsword. The king thanked his loyal servants and immediately sent them back to the castle for safety with the order of making sure everyone in the castle was safe.

As he ran to the wall, he noticed one of his knights, clad in complete iron armour and mounted on his trusty steed, rushing through the city streets to get him. All around him, the citizens quickly ran back to the safety of their homes (aside from the few who helped opened the path for the knight). They were scared and alarmed but they were not panicking. After years of war, the citizens learned to never panic and acted orderly. As soon as the knight reached his king, he quickly helped Lupin onto the horse and rode off to the walls.

"Soldier! What is going on?" Lupin asked his knight. To which he was responded with.

"My liege. You would not believe me if I told you. You must see for yourself." The king grew wary. What danger faced them if he needed to see it himself? His face contorted with rage as his thought immediately went to The Empire of Baekjie. Unconsciously, he gripped his sword tighter and let out a low growl. His knight sensing the king's anger immediately. "It is not Beakjie, my liege. I fear it might be worse than our former enemies." Though the king calmed down slightly, he was worried.
