Ruby:
It was quiet...
Almost to quiet.
This would be normal if not for the screaming people around me. yet that didn't explain why.. All I was hearing were the beating hearts of the people standing beside me.
Each beat.
Going faster than before.
The weirdest thing? Was that I could hear. almost FEAL. Each movement there blood flow made.
With each beat blood flows through the veins, circulating up, then down again. The metallic smell of blood overwhelmed my senses.
But just as soon as it had started it it was gone in the same moment.
Almost as if it had never happened.
I welcomed the screams and yelling to my ears.
"Rube?! Ruby!!" I look up into the face of the person shaking me and that's when I realize I'm laying on the ground.
"Ruby? Thank GOD!! I thought you were-" my best frind dante pauses, before taking a breath and continuing.
"Ruby...you totally checked out! Nobody could get your attention! Then you fall!! And I didn't know what to do! What happened! Are you okay??" I look up into his concerned face.
"yeah I'm fine.... I think?" I say reaching to take his outstretched hand. Pulling me up he says
"FUCK rubes... That scared the shit outta me... Are you sure your okay..? Do you wanna leave?" Looking into his eyes I can see that it really did scare him. But before I can reply, I get the strong feeling someone is watching us.
I turn. Looking everywhere to see why I'm getting this feeling as if it'll pop up if I just look. I stop dead in my search when my eyes fall upon a pair of the most captivating golden brown eyes I've ever seen.
Weird.
It almost seems as if....
No.
That's not possible.
If I didn't know any better I would say I thought I saw a Scarlett read... Rimmed around the golden of his eyes.
But no. It's just my mind playing tricks on me. Must be contacts.
Breaking out of my thought process I realize something I missed.
He's stating at me as much as I am of him...
