The Assassin

The Past.

Amaris Rose, mother of three beautiful children. It had been hard for her for the past few years to take care of them but with the help of her husband, Dmitry Rose, things had been so much easier. But, the family of five didn't receive much love lately, sure they were known for being a wealthy family but they were a little dysfunctional. Here and there they would argue about tiny things. Very tiny things. You see, Dmitry and Amaris Rose are known as both Empress and Emperor of their huge empire. But like mentioned earlier, they both had three beautiful children, Nova, Leon and their youngest, Anna. Both Nova and Leon were about 14 and 15 at the time while Anna, was at least 6 years of age.. but she didn't mind being so young, she enjoyed it since she would be in less trouble because her behavior and her actions would most likely be a "mistake". But still, she was kind of the hardest to take care of since she was always running around and doing what a six year old would do. Anna at the time, was a demigoddess and her brother was a demigod while her other sister, had also been a demigoddess. Her mother was a human who had received abilities, while her father was a God. But, there was something a little more special about Anna. Her mother had received her abilities after she gave birth to Leon and Nova. But when Anna was born, she had also received her mother's power. So maybe she was just a bit more special than a demigoddess.

It had been a beautiful day. So, Anna and her siblings went to go out into the garden. It had always been exciting for her to go into the garden, her mother taught her on how to make flower crowns and so she'd make a flower crown for both of her siblings. Anna had been carefully picking out flowers, they were very beautiful too her and she would have to make sure to pick out the most beautiful ones. After a few, she had picked out a bunch of flowers to use for the two flower crowns she was going to make. She ran to her siblings and looked up at them with her piercing blue eyes, her eyes where of the ocean, it was almost as if you could actually see the ocean in her eyes. Even some villagers would comment on her eyes when some would visit too see if the Empress and Emperor were doing well. Amaris always loved her people, but Dmitry.. he wasn't so fond of them, he saw them as almost his slaves. But anyways, Anna stood there as she gazed at her siblings. Then she spoke out in a happy and cheerful voice.

"You both should watch me make these flower crowns for you both! So that way, you both will know on how to make them like I do!"

She stated, she was super excited to start. She looked over to Nova with a smile, she loved her big sister a lot. She always had advice to look pretty for other guests and she just knew on how to be a princess. But, it wasn't always like those fairy tales where they always had to dress up like some fairy or ballerina..this was pretty much reality. Being the child of two rulers wasn't always a perfect thing. You just don't have a perfect life. Because there would obviously be consequences for a rulers actions. It was all too complicated to understand at a very young age, which was why she didn't worry about it at all. After a bit of staring at her older sister, she saw that she had opened her mouth to speak.

"Anna, I would be more than happy to watch you make your flower crowns.
It's always satisfying to watch you make such beautiful objects. Aren't you just special?"

She said gently. Then, she looked over to Leon who seemed to be acting a fool already, of course. Nova wasn't surprised at all, he was a boy after all. Wasn't that how all guys acted? Well, no.. that's not how that worked basically, it wasn't just guys in general. Girls such as Nova would act a fool too. Her and Leon would argue a lot over small things. Anna found it funny to watch as she would just stand there and hold in her laughs. She loved her siblings too much. She was always willing to do absolutely anything for them. Nova moved closer to Leon and grabbed him by the ear and pulled him closer so they would all be gathered up. Leon stared at Nova with an irritated look.
