Ralph did not really like to have fun, he was a farmer and he rounded up sheep and cattle. I had to try and help him do this.
When we finished I wagged my tail and started bouncing from side to side hoping he would play with me. All he did was grumble and move away from me.
I sat down tilting my head as he went inside closing the door behind him. I think he might be sad because I let a sheep get away today, Oops.
I followed him inside and I saw a small old tennis ball, I picked it up and brought it to Ralph dropping it at his feet. He just looked at it and kicked it away.
I chased after the ball and dropped it at his feet again. He kicked it away, this happened 3 more times. I dropped it at his feet again then he stood up and he looked angry, "Out!" he shouted and he pointed outside. I looked outside and saw it was raining.
I don't know what it was until it happened again, he had kicked me to the door and outside into the mud. I looked around and saw him lock the door, I didn't even get my dinner.
I was cold, hungry and alone. I started to wander looking for a kennel, there was no kennel.
So I decided to sit on the front porch where is was partly sheltered from the rain and wind. I lay there with my head on my paws whining softly. I just want to have a friend.
