~Teresa's POV~
I've been living in Quantico, Virginia, for a while. I moved from a small town in Indiana a while ago with my 11-year old sister. We moved to get away from our father. He used to rape us and beat us every night. We moved to Virginia, and I got a job at the Bau for the FBI. I work with the best team ever. We are working on a case where an 11-year old girl is kidnapped. I was looking at the pictures and couldn't stop thinking about my sister. I got up and walked to get a drink. Derek got up and followed me.
"You ok?"
"Every time I look at those pictures of Billie and hear the story, I think of my sister, and I couldn't do it. I don't think I could ever handle it."
"It's gonna be ok. We are going to find her and catch this son of a bitch.'
We smiled and went and sat down. We talked more, and then the plane landed, and we got off. We went to the police station and set up in the conference room. We were talking about the case, and I kept staring in the distance. I was broken out of my gaze.
"Agent Spangler, are you ok?"
"Yea, I'm just thinking about my sister." I looked down.
"Oh, I forgot you had a sister. How is she?"
"She is good."
"You have to bring her to the headquarters sometime."
"I will. Let's focus on the case so I can get back to my sister."
We went back to focusing on the case. Me and Derek went to interview the parents. The mom was crying and I couldn't do it.
"Do you mind if I look in Billie's room?"
"Upstairs. Last door on the right."
I walked upstairs and to Billie's room. I looked around and seen her shrine to her dog. I flashbacked to my sister's shrine to her dog. I felt tears and I wiped them away. They kept coming and I couldn't stop them. I hugged him tight and cried.
"I think you need to stop working on this case."
'I wanna help catch him, Derek. I need too."
"How about this, You stopping working now and when we get the lead and find him you can ride with me and you can arrest him and save her?"
"I would love that Derek."
"I'll tell everyone."
We stopped hugging and walked downstairs. We got in the car and drove to the station. We got out and walked into the station. I sat on the couch in the conference room and I called my sister.
"Hey baby, how are you doing?"
"That's great. I should be home soon baby. I'll see you soon. I love you too baby."
I smiled.
"Bye baby. Tell Sarah I love her too and tell her to kiss you goodnight for me."
"Ok bye baby. Love you."
I hung up and set my phone down. Derek was sitting next to me. Hotch and everyone walked in. Derek spoke up.
"Guys I made a deal with Teresa, I was telling her to take the time off this case and when we find the guy and arrest him. I told her she could arrest him and save the girl. Please let her do this. This case is messing with her mentally and physically. We owe to her since she left her sister and came on this case knowing what was happening."
"Ok. She can but she doesn't leave this room until we find the kidnapper,"
"Ok, Deal."
"Jj makes sure she doesn't leave this room until we find the kidnapper."
