Anthony's Pov

I kept seeing him around town. I started to ask around about who he was. I started with Josh. 

Anthony, get in the car" Josh looked around making sure no one was looking, "hurry up you fucktard" i gasped, if anyone else had heard they would have shoved us into the sin boxes and re-baptized us. Being Christian was such a fun time. I hopped in the car with Josh as we went to go pick up Griffin. 

As Griffin got in the car he looked down. Lately it seemed like he had been hiding something from us. He was always out whenever we wanted to hangout. "Hey Griffin" 

"Hey" Griffin mumbled back, Josh's smile went down. He seemed to be taking it the hardest out of all us. I mean all of us were close but Josh and Griffin used to be way closer till he started hiding something. As we were driving down the street i gasped. It was him the bleached hair guy.

"Do you guys know who that is" i pointed out the guy. Josh shook his head but as soon as Griffin saw him he ducked his head back down blushing as though he knew the guy. "Wait Griffin do you know who that is" he mumbled something unintelligible so i let it go.

Josh and I were exploring downtown again. This time we were going to explore the building. There was an entrance on the side so i tried to go in. But it was locked. "Hmm weird, should we ask your dad about it" Josh questioned. 

"i guess" we hopped back into the car knowing we would see my dad preaching. Lately i hadn't wanted to go to church. I didn't know what by it seemed wrong what he was teaching. I felt as though he might be wrong, but he was preaching god so i had to believe him. As we headed back to the church i realized something. Griffin hadn't been to church in like two or three weeks. I wondered what that was about. Probably he just was having a early mid-life crisis, as my dad says 'everyone thinks they would be god, but they always come back. They realize that god wanted the best for them'

"Hey dad?"

"Yes, son?"

"Josh and I found a building-" Josh started violently gesturing at me. "Sorry i found a building and wanted to know what was in it?

"Where is it?"
"Its on Clock street where it meets Ticker"( did you get it, haha i'm hilarious)

"Anthony" I tensed, he never used my actual name unless i was in trouble. He grabbed my wrist hard, I was confused he never did this in public,  saving punishing me for my sins at home."Never go there. It's a place of sin." What he didn't seem to realize is that  he just made me want to go more.
