We three look at each other and as they went back on eating their meal.

As I feed Ava her food.

"Especially once you rejoin that gang of hoodlums and have a daughter with a younger girl could be your son's age," Mrs. Cooper said.

I stop feeding Ava "Serpents aren't Hoodlum and I'm older enough to date who ever I want like age doesn't matter Mrs. cooper," I Said giving her my fake smile.

"I'm not going back to the serpents Alice I thought a lot about this while I was in Shankshaw and I'm done with serpent life it's gonna be one last ride for my boy my girl and I but it's too much of a slippery slope for me" FP replies.

"The serpents need you Dad," Jughead said.

"Jughead and y/n need you Mr. jones," Betty said.

"And what pray tell will you be doing with all of your extra time FP?" Mrs. Cooper Asked

"Working warden cooper I saw a help wanted sign in the window though I'd talk to Pop about picking up some shifts" FP replies.

"Let's hope your plans don't come crashing down once you start drinking again,"  Mrs. Cooper said

"Actually I'm in AA. Started in jail and I don't plan on stopping" FP  said taking a sip of his coffee.

As we chuckle at Mrs. Cooper's reaction what FP Said.

"I think we should be going right guys," I Said

"Yeah" Jughead replied.

"Y/n I don't mind watch Ava for you," Betty Said

"Are you sure?" I asked

"Yeah I'm not doing nothing so yeah I don't mind" Ava Betty replies.

"Okay here is my key for my place," I Said

She took it

I kissed Ava forehead

"Sweetie listen to Betty I will find out you don't," I Said

"Bye Mrs. Cooper,"  I said

"Bye,"  Mrs. Cooper said not looking at us as we walk out pop's diner.

And got on our motorcycle and drove off to FP and I favourite spot.

"Things got ugly when you were away I asked myself every day what you would do if you were here and
y/n alway say your dad would never sit back and let his shit done," Jughead said.

I chuckle but I look at Jughead

"Has penny bothered you? I figured she's the one who greased my wheels" I said.

"No" Jughead replied

"Jughead," y/n said warned him to tell me

He sighs" yes I did a job for her," Jughead said.

"What kind of job?" I asked

"It was a one-time thing. I figured it best not to ask too many questions we're squared away for good" Jughead said.

"You know when I was 16 my old man kicked me out and told me to go to hell. Instead, I joined the serpents and then the army and then back again I don't want that life for you jug I want you to go to college get out of this godforsaken town" I said

I ran the gauntlet I fought with the serpents and for them, I have to stay I wanna stay but I need your blessing" Jughead said.

I sigh "just promise me you'll keep writing," I Said

"I will I do every day" Jughead replies.

"Don't make me regret it boy" I Said

"I won't dad I have y/n been helping me" Jughead replied.

"That so," I Said looking right at her but she ignores my looks and got on her motorcycle.

We did the same and start heading back to pop's diner.

Jughead pov

we all talking then I notice dad heading this way

"You all finished?" Dad asked.

"Yeah thanks, dad" I replied as he took our plate and look at y/n and placed a short kiss on her lips. She kissed back and pulled away and smirk on his face as he continues working.

Hearing y/n giggles

I smile at them

She looks at me

"I never say this but thanks again making my dad smile he needed that," I said smile at her.

"No need to Jughead he made me happy I ever been" y/n replied.

I about to say something to her but I cut off by glass shattering

We look at Cheryl

"Clean that up, plebe. The way you did my brother's blood" Cheryl said

Y/n and I quickly got up and approached her

"Y/n, Jug don't," dad Said stopping us.

"I'll get you another milkshake. On the house" dad said cleaning up the mess.

We sit back down.

"My Dad used to be a King a leader of men. Now he's being demeaned by the likes of Cheryl Blossoms he deserves to be honoured not humiliated" I Said scoffs.

"So why don't we do just that seriously why not throw your dad a retirement party fit for a king?" Betty asked

I look at her

"Don't worry Y/n and I take care of everything Betty said cupped my face with her hand and we stared into each other eyes.

"Okay let's do that,"  I Said smile at her.
