I sat on the soft and fluffy grass watching my children. They played in the meadows everyday and today was no exception. As the sun rose higher, they went farther down the hill. I looked over my shoulder to see Peeta with some fruits from the garden.
"Hey," I said glancing over at the foods in his hand.
"Its just strawberries," he replied. "Do you want one?"
I shook my head no. It was getting close to lunch anyway.
"I'll call the kids for lunch," I started to get up and straighten my clothes out. When I finished straightening out my clothes, Peeta came in to give me a kiss. This one wasn't like the ones in the Hunger Games though, this one was short as if to say "I'll see you later, okay?"
He walked into the house to start making lunch. I began to look around for the kids. I didnt see them. Not too worried, I started calling for them.
"Willow, Rye! It's time for dinner," each time I said their names I got more frantic.
Where would they be? They were here a minute ago. Did someone take them? No. Not a single soul other then them were around here.
That's when I saw it. A big hovercraft in the sky, with my children hanging for the claw. I was furious. Why would the Capital take my children? What are they going to do to them?
"PEETA!" I didn't think about it, I just did it. Somehow, Peeta heard me and came running out of the house. I pointed up to the sky, but he already saw it.
"NO, NO, NO!" he was running around, scared. Even when he was at death's door in the Hunger Games he wasn't this scared. He runs inside to make some phone calls, while I raced down looking for where they were. After about 15 minutes I find it. They were in the flower field. I kneel down to pick up the flowers that were in the pile, taking a better look at them. I instantly know what they are.
Primroses.
I put them close to my chest and start walking into the house. I notice Peeta laying on the couch, with his face in the pillow.
Stroking his hair I say,"Oh Peeta, what are we going to do?"
