I have been dating Shoto Todoroki for over six months. And I've always wondered what he looks like. What i look like. What the world looks like.
"Nana." I heard my boyfriend say.
"Yes, Shoto?" I asked from the seat across from him. My iced coffee cold on my hands.
"What do you think i look like?" He asked. I smiled.
"I may be blind but i have good listening skills. I've heard from other students talking, that you've got red and white hair, and you're quite handsome. But i want to see it for myself." I explained. "I've also heard you've got a scar on your left eye." I said. My hand patted to find his hand.
"They're right." He said sorta sadly. My smile grew larger.
"I have something to tell you." I said.
"What is it?"
"My dad got the appointment. So, im getting my eyes fixed." I sighed. "Ill be able to see you." I said. My bottom lip trembled.
"That's amazing Nana!" He said happily. I knew a smile rose on his face. My phone buzzed multiple times.
"Just one second Shoto," i answered the call. "Hello? Yes of course, I'll be there in ten minutes. What time is it? Okay, perfect. Alright, bye dad." I closed my call. "Turns out my surgery is today. I have to head home." I felt around for my wallet and pulled out some money to pay.
"I'll walk you home." I thanked him and we head to my house.
"Shoto, am I pretty?" I asked him. I twirled a bit of my long hair in my fingers. My hair was very thick and coiled.
"You're very beautiful Nanajima. Believe me." He said and held my hand. I squeezed his hand.
"Thank you Shoto." My eyes glistened. "Im kinda scared for my surgery. What if it goes bad?" I asked.
"Im sure it'll be fine." He said and we stopped.
"Are we here?" I asked.
"Yes." I heard the door open and close.
"Ah, Todoroki! How great to see you! No offence Nana." My dad joked.
"Haha. Really funny dad. Anyway, Shoto, I love you." I said and he pecked me on the lips.
"I love you too. Ill see you later, my love." He said and hugged me. I hugged him back. My walking stick around my wrist. I heard him start walking back to his place and my dad told me to get in the car.
I did so and heard the engine rev up.
"Are you excited?" My dad asked. I nodded.
"Of course i am!" I smiled.
"Remember, two days out of school after this surgery, the doctor said so." I nodded.
"I know dad. Im just so excited."
I never told my fellow classmates about my surgery, only Shoto. I was ready to see the world for the very first time in 16 years of living.
I felt the car stop and i got out of it. I wacked my stick around to make sure i don't run into anything.
It hit something.
"Hey! Watch where you're whacking that thing!"
"I can't watch." I said angrily.
