Preface

It is often believed that strippers value nothing of themselves, or that they have to value themselves, or their lives to the point that they walk into this profession. However, just as anyone else, they have normal lives, and regardless of who they are or what they do, they should be respected. Contrary to that, but also contrary to societies primary belief, some men fail to grasp this idea, but not all men.

Elyse is just a woman, trying to live for herself, as well as her baby, in hopes to make well enough to raise him with the life that she was never able to claim. She has learned to become numb to hate, but in order to have done so, she also became numb to love. Jason, a regular attendee of the club that Elyse performs at, is determined to break her of this.

Jason is only a slave to his body, but after a few times of seeing Elyse, he can't help but see beyond her skin, and a beautiful face, she is so much more to him.

It could only be so easy for a guy like him to fall in love, but what about a woman like Elyse?

A/N: Some of these pieces will be written in Elyse's perspective and will always be written in novel format. Others may be written by Jason, and some will be written in the format of a novel, others in stanzas of poetry. I hope you enjoy, I'm not too good with romance, my next will be horror or an lgbt kinda story, maybe?
