Cindy stood in front of the principal's office, she knocked on the door. The door immediately opened, The Principal looked down at her and smiles. "Greetings Cindy!" He moved out of the way, so she could pass. she smiled and entered. The Principal close the door behind him. "How do you feel about the school so far Cindy?" He asked, pulling out a chair for her.  "Oh! Well...so far... I like it! Mr. Baldi is nice to me and Playtime is a great friend!" She smiled, sitting down. The Principal sat in front of her, across his desk. 'That's great! If something happens, that makes you feel uncomfortable here, please tell me. I'll be happy to help" He said, Cindy nodded. They sat there in silence for a few minutes. "So, Cindy. The main reason I asked you to come here is that... I noticed those wounds, scratches, and bruises all around you. I thought it'll be better if we walked in private about it" Cindy smile fell, she stayed quiet. 'Is someone hurting you?" Cindy thought for a bit. "Oh no... it's just..." What can she say to him? He may be the principal but he doesn't need to know. "I travel through the forest, I get hurt a lot, that's why I have so many... bruises." He tilts his head, not believing her. "Does your parents such let you walk around the forest by yourself?" Cindy looked at him, her expression was hard for him to read.

"I..uhh" she tried to come help with an excuse, but all of them that she came up in her head were terrible. "I dont....they don't know," She said. The Principal looked confused. "And why's that?" She didn't know what to say next. The Principal sighed 'I know you're lying Cindy, please tell me what's wrong. Also, why are your clothes so..." He trailed off. Cindy looked down at the outfit she was wearing. A torn white shirt with black leggings with holes in them, worn out flats. "I...I don't have anything else...I'm homeless" She said, pretty quietly but he was still able to hear that. "Oh dear.. What about your parents?" she took a deep breathe. "I don't have ...parents" She finally said, slowly sinking into her chair. The principal eyes widened, or eye sockets... who knows. "Oh..I'm so sorry.." He said. Again, they sat there in silence before the Principal spoke again. "You don't have a place to stay?" He asked, she shook her head. He pondered for a bit until coming up with a conclusion. "Why dont...you live with me?" She immediately lifts her head to look at him, her eyes widened. "I know it will seem strange at first, but you'll get fused to it. But that's if..you want too" He said.  "Are... Are you serious?" She asked. He nodded, seriousness written across his face. Yes! Finally, a place to call home! But can she trust him, if what he abandons her too? No, he cares about her, but why? He just met her. Well, Cindy can finally sleep well, eat well, have a normal life. doesn't that sound great Cindy? That's a risk that you should take. Cindy smiled "Yes! Thank you! I would like to live with you!" The Principal smiled. "Great! Just stay with me for the rest of the day, we can talk about what we can get you. New clothes, more food, supplies" Cindy had the biggest smile on her face. The Principal liked seeing her smile, he may just meet the child but he feels like something about her is special, he should take care of her, protect her as if she was his child. He doesn't mind at all.

Meanwhile, Playtime walked back to her class, she sat at her desk, she watched as she sees kids walking in. The bell rung, meaning class has officially begun. Baldi stood up from his desk, he had a confused look on his face. "Where's Cindy?"  He asked. "She's at the principal's office" "Oooooh, she's in trouble" Bully laughed. Baldi slapped his ruler onto his desk. "Bully, shush!" he then turned to Playtime. "Is that true?.." He clenched his ruler, Playtime shook his head.  "The Principal just wanted to talk to her, to know her better." She explained. Baldi loosened his grip onto the ruler and nodded, understanding "Well that's new.."  He quietly said.

"Suuuuure, that stupid girl is such a waste of everyone's time," Bully said.

Playtime stood up, glaring at Bully.

"Shut up Bully! How dare you say that!"

Bully stood up too.

"I can say whatever I want! You're not the boss of me, you idiot!"

"THAT IS ENOUGH!"

He slammed his ruler into his desk so hard, everyone jumped. Playtime and Bully quickly sat down on their desk. Baldi sighed in anger, taking deep breathes to calm down. "Okay...Playtime I believe you, but if I found out if you are lying... ' He raises his ruler "I won't hesitant .." Playtime nodded, scared. "And Bully, please TRY to keep your mouth shut, or you'll get hit with the ruler too"  Bully crosses his arms and looked away, nodding. Baldi sighed and went back to teaching. Playtime tried her best to prevent tears from falling out, even though it only been a few minutes, she already wanted Cindy back. She couldn't wait to see her after school.

"I miss you so much, Cindy.."

the bell rang, The whole time, the two were talking. 'Welp, it's time for us to go" He stood up, grabbing some paperwork. Suddenly the door slammed open, Cindy turned around to see Baldi. "Oh.. I guess she was right.," he whispered to himself as he walked in. The Principal looked up from collecting his papers. "Hello Baldi, you need something?" He looked at the Principal then back at Cindy. "Why didn't you come to class at all?" He asked "I was talking with her" "For an hour?" "Yes, as you can tell. Now excuse us, but we have to go home. Come on Ci-"

"CINDY!" Playtime ran in, pushing Baldi out of the way and hugged her friend. "You took so long! I missed you so much!" Cindy smiled "Sorry about that Playtime.." She said. The Principal smiled a bit that the two. "Now Playtime, you should head home. Cindy and I gotta go somewhere. "Where?" Playtime asked "Home" Cindy whispered. "I'll explain later. "Wait wait, but she missed a whole hour of class, she should stay after school for tutorials!" Baldi said, placing his hands on his hips. The Principal sighed "Look, she doesn't have the time" He gently grabbed Cindy, pulling her out of Playtimes's grasped, making Playtime pout. "Cmon Cindy let's go" He looked at the two "I'll see you at school tomorrow " He slightly nods at them before leaving. Cindy waved goodbye at them before leaving also. Playtime and Baldi stood there in silence. "No fair... I wanted to spend time with her.." She pouted. Baldi looked down at her "You hung out with her the whole day.." "It's not enough!" playtime said before leaving the room. Baldi has never been so confused in his whole life. "What is so special about that girl?" he questioned himself, he shook his head and left.
