Lillian's POV:
I crept along the cold stone wall as silent as a mouse, walking past others who watched in their cells. Hearing a noise I quickly hid in a darkened corner, careful not to breathe too loudly. I waited patiently as a guard walked past. I was gonna move on until I saw two big rings of thousands of keys for other cells. I grinned as I moved behind the guard like a shadow, getting ready to go for the kill. And like a spider, I quickly stood up and snapped his neck. I grabbed the keys and grabbed the body, putting him in one of the barrels by the wall. I grabbed his phone that fell out of his pocket and looked at the time. 11:14PM. 3...2...1...I grinned as I heard a clicking noise. I have 5 minutes. I turned to all the cells where everyone was looking at me and raised the keys in the air, a sign that our plan has worked. A bunch of cheers went off.
"Now, my brothers and sisters from many, you shall have the freedom you deserve!" More cheers went off as I unlocked one cell, handing a bunch of keys that other will hand out to help other and repeating the action. "No longer shall we stay under the control of humans! No longer shall we lose our freedom! No longer, shall we stay as a joke! My friends. My pack. My family. You. Shall. Be free!" I yelled as they all cheered. I stomped once with my right leg and hit my left arm across my chest. Like an army, they repeat the action, showing me I am the alpha. I checked the time 3 minutes. Perfect. "Most of them are all in one room. The conference room. But there are still guards. We have three minutes before they leave. They always leave their weapons outside the conference rooms. So have your own little blood bath. Be smart, be quick, and Don't die. This is the beginning of our new life. And Ace!" I somewhat yelled. Ace, my best friend and also a phoenix hybrid, walked up. "Take a couple of people with you and get the children out of here." He nodded, a look of determination on his face.
"Yes, Alpha."
"Good. Let's go!" And with that everyone cheered and ran straight for the conference room, while others went to go find the exit. I grinned as I ran towards the closest exit, killing a few people who stood in my way. It's been at least five minutes since we left for battle and I just ran out the exit, panting and covered in blood. I stumbled a bit, the foreign feeling of the cold air of the dark clinging to my skin. I ran straight for the forest ahead that just so happened to be there. Ace, are the children ok? 'Yes Alpha, they are-' He was suddenly interrupted when the building exploded behind me, causing my body to go flying through the air. The last thing I remember before I hit the ground, was all the pain I felt before everything went black.
