Backstory
Ellie lived a relatively normal childhood. Her dad owned a small store and she helped him out. She'd carry heavy packages for him and help out behind the register when she could. Meanwhile, she was enrolled in a dance studio and her mom taught her small things about dance at home. They shared a passion for it.
When Ellie discovered her quirk, she immediately knew she had to be a hero. She was inspired by All Might and other female heroes. She's a firm believer that there's more to a person than just their quirk, and it takes more than a powerful quirk to be a good hero.
However, Ellie's life stopped being normal when she was nine years old. She had come home from school one day to find the door to the house unlocked and slightly ajar. When she entered the house, the first thing she saw was blood. Next, it was a black figure, and then, the body. She had walked in on her mother's murder. She was traumatized, and had reoccurring nightmares of a man in all black with nothing but his teeth exposed, moaning about flesh.
Ellie's father got her Chester soon after, hoping he'd provide her with some comfort. After that, her father enrolled her in fighting classes after she begged him to. Ellie and her father grew quite close after her mother's death, and that continues even while she's in U.A.
