|| OC's Backstory: Cheyenne Melanie Lahote was born to the Lahote family in the summer of 1986, just a few years before her younger brother, Paul Lahote. She grew up with Sam Uley, and Leah Clearwater, even graduating the same year from high school with them. However, she develops a huge crush on Sam in high school even though he is dating Leah. Leah always ridicules and makes fun of Cheyenne for being in love with Sam. After graduation, and Sam proposes to Leah, Cheyenne is heartbroken beyond words, and heads home. She quickly packs some bags, and writes Paul a quick handwritten note, saying she will come back when the time is right, but that she needs to mend her broken heart.
She heads straight to California, meeting a young man from a tribe native to Los Angeles, and winds up marrying him a few months after having moved there. A couple of years later, after being married for a little over a year and a half, she is extremely pregnant with her first child, a boy she planned to name Paul after her baby brother. Later that day, when she comes home from work, she finds her husband's dead body, sucked dry of his blood. Traumatized, she rushes outside in the backyard and winds up transforming into a pure white wolf, which according to Quileute legends, is a very rare and unique feat in and of itself. She has the ability to keep her thoughts to herself, which she finds to be a blessing. Due to the stress of finding her deceased husband, she winds up miscarrying her baby, and it all becomes too much for her, so she heads straight to Quileute reservation, hoping to be reunited with her brother.
Since those three years after her "disappearance", everyone assumed her dead, gone. Until she shows up onto First Beach, and Jared sees her there; he uses his mental link with the pack, telling them that Cheyenne is indeed alive, and, so, of course, Paul reunites with her, noticing the blood running in between her thighs. Cheyenne reveals her miscarriage to Paul, also revealing her marriage and deceased spouse. Paul is utterly disheartened for his big sister and everything she's been through the past three years. Sam then comes out, having felt extreme measures of guilt for Cheyenne's disappearance, but when he sees her face to face, for the first time in three long years, he scoops her up in his arms, apologizing for ever choosing Leah over her, knowing all along she was the woman he should have been with.

By Eclipse (the third book and movie), Sam and Cheyenne are happily in love, and Sam plans to propose to Cheyenne, with Paul's blessing, and so he indeed proposes to her at the bonfire, which is welcoming Leah and Seth Clearwater to the pack. Leah, of course, is furious by this, and storms off. Cheyenne says yes, and by the end of the third book/movie, they have a traditional Quileute ceremony, and a bonfire to celebrate.

By Breaking Dawn (the fourth book and movie), Sam and Cheyenne are happily married and are trying to get pregnant, so they try everything humanly possible, and she indeed does become pregnant and carries two babies to full term. A boy named Paul Samuel Uley, after his father and uncle, and a baby girl named Allison Rachel Uley, after her paternal grandmother and aunt.
The entire pack welcomes the newest additions into the family with open arms, and hearts, vowing to protect the babies with everything they have. The rest is for fate to decide...
