Welcome to the second part of Crossfire SSS! Please enjoy and maybe comment and favorite!

Kiniki sighed as he entered his home. It was around two thirty in the morning and he was tired as hell. He worked at Lona Hospital as a doctor and he had a late shift. He wished that he could just take day shifts so that he can spend time with his lover, Dymari, but he knew that he had to do both day and night so that people could be safe, healthy, and alive. Kiniki closed the door and turned on the lights but what he saw made him drop his things and scream.

On the floor, Dymari was lying in a pool of his own blood.

Kiniki ran to Dymari and turned him over and widened his eyes as he saw that Dymari had knives in his stomach and his face and body were bruised and bloodied. He was so shocked he didn't even notice that tears were running down his cheeks. A few seconds later, Kiniki got up and grabbed his cell and dialed 9-1-1 as he grabbed a small towelette and put pressure on the wounds that didn't have knives in them. He knew that if he took them out, Dymari would die faster.

"9-1-1, do you need an ambulance, police, or firefighter?" The women on the phone asked.

"Ambulance. Pleases, hurry. He's bleeding a lot," Kiniki said as he tried not to whimper.

"Where are you?" The women asked.

"54 Fifth Ave," Kiniki replied.

"Alright, ambulances are on your way," The women said. "How did the person get injured?"

'I don't know. I just got home from work and I just saw him like this," Kiniki said, biting his lip.

The women nodded and continued to talk to Kiniki. Kiniki continued to put pressure on wounds and cried as the call ended. He heard banging on the door and called out that it was open. A group of men came in and started to assess Dymari as Kiniki was pushed away. Kiniki winced lightly and shook his head.

"His pulse is getting weak," Kiniki said.

"I can see that," one of the paramedics muttered as he and his companion lifted Dymari on a stretcher and into the ambulance.

Kiniki glared at the paramedic and sniffled as he cleaned up. After changing, Kiniki quickly got in his car and drove to the hospital. His thoughts quickly went to Dymari once again and his eyes started to tear up. What if Dymari dies? What will he do? Kiniki let out a sob as he stopped at a red light. He wiped his eyes and took a few breathes before he left the red light and turned into the hospital. He parked his car and quickly went into the hospital and went to the front desk.

"Um, hi... uh, did someone come in named Dymari?" Kiniki asked as he fidgeted slightly.

The nurse typed in the name and nodded at Kiniki. "Do you know him?" She asked.

"Um, yes. I'm his lover," Kiniki said.

The nurse nodded and grabbed a clipboard and handed it to Kiniki. Kiniki took it and frowned, looking at the nurse again. The nurse just continued to type on the computer. Kiniki bit his lip and went to the waiting room and started to fill out the forms. He looked up when a doctor came in.

"Uh, Dymari Ray?"

"Yes? Is he okay?" Kiniki asked as he stood up quickly.

The doctor turned to Kiniki and sighed. "He needs surgery and we need someone to sign the form," he said, giving Kiniki another clipboard.

Kiniki sighed and took it. He signed and returned it and looked on as the doctor left. Kiniki turned around and sat back down and finished filling out the sheets. When he did finish, he gave them to the front desk nurse and sat back down and called Dymari's family and their friends. By the end of the callings, Kiniki was in tears again. Oh, he hoped that Dymari would make it out alive.

...

Hours later, the same doctor came out, looking tired but relieved. Kiniki was asleep and leaning on Ray, Dymari's brother. Kiniki's sister, Sinuka, saw the doctor and shook her big brother awake and pointed to the male. Kiniki shot up awake and looked at the doctor anxiously and nervously. Dymari's family stood up as well and circled around the doctor.

"How is our son?" Dymari's mother asked.

"Your son is fine, miss. All he needs it rest but the first 24 hours are critical. Would you like to see him?" The doctor asked.

They all nodded and the doctor nodded back. He led the family and friends to the farthest room and opened the door to it. The family walked in as the doctor stayed out and kept the door open. The family all gasped and paled as they saw Dymari wrapped up in the white bandages and saw machines connected to him. Kiniki stumbled lightly when he saw how bad Dymari looked. Sinuka grabbed her brother and led him worriedly to Dymari. Kiniki sat down and grabbed Dymari's hand and cried. How could he have let his love get so hurt?

The doctor looked at them solemnly. "I'm sorry, but only one person can stay. Visiting hours are over as well," he said softly.

"Kiniki can stay. Come," Dymari's mother said sternly as she gently pushed the others out of the room.

She smiled and kissed Kiniki's head before she too left. The doctor said that there were pillows, blankets, and a mattress provided before he left. Kiniki sighed and kissed Dymari's head and sat down, holding his love's hand tightly.

"Hey babe... I hope you're alright sleeping... I'm so sorry for what happened," Kiniki whimpered softy as he set his head on Dymari's chest, gently playing with a tube.

Dymari's hands twitched slightly as did his eyes brows. Kiniki didn't know as he wasn't looking up and he was holding the other hand.

"I miss you dearly... remember the time when I fell out of a car in a car accident? And that you kicked the drunk driver's ass as well as mine when I felt good enough to have sex? I'm glad you were there for me," Kiniki said as tears started to roll down his eyes. "Dymari... I'm so sorry I didn't have time for you. Work isn't easy when saving lives. But I promise, when you wake up... if you wake up, I will change my job for you. I love you so, so damn much."

Dymari groaned lightly and started to chock on the tube down his throat. Kiniki panicked and called for the doctor. The doctor came in and took out the tube and check Dymari, his eyes widening in surprise as he saw how quickly and how well Dymari was healing.

"Well, Dymari. You're healing well. I would say in about a week you can leave. I'll bring some meds in soon for the pain," The doctor said with a light smile and left.

Kiniki looked at Dymari as more tears rolled down his cheeks. Dymari cleared his throat and smiled gently at Kiniki, weakly taking his hand and squeezing it. Kiniki let out a sob as he felt the grip and flung himself onto Dymari gently. Dymari groaned but held his lover close to him and kissed his head.

"You're okay... you're actually okay," Kiniki gasped out.

"Y-Yeah... d-don't change... job f-for me," Dymari wheezed out.

Kiniki sniffled and chuckled lightly, sniffling. "You don't understand, my love. I'm keeping my job, but I'm gonna change where I work. I'm going to try to be a front desk person as the one for the late shift is absolutely horrible," he said.

Dymari chuckled and held Kiniki close to him. Kiniki smiled and snuggled into Dymari and gasped as he was pulled down. Dymari smirked lightly and kissed Kiniki's head before he closed his eyes and fell asleep. Kiniki played with Dymari's chest for a little bit before he too fell asleep. He was so happy that Dymari was healthy and alright. But he wasn't so pleased by the person who beat him up. Before he fully went to dreamworld, Kiniki vowed that he would find the person who hurt his love and make him pay. But, by midnight, someone broke into the room and insisted his job in killing Dymari... taking another go, he too killed Kiniki. When morning came, the family was shocked to see their family dead in their cold blood. But they were glad that there were security cameras everywhere in the building and outside of it.

Best if you start running, Murderer... for you will become a victim and we will become the murderers!
