Dont have one

"Eureka! I've done it, I finally found a way to make dinosaurs alive again!" I said to myself in an empty lab.
"I've got to find John and tell him, he's gonna flip when I do." I said running through halls trying to find him. John is my co-worker also my best friend, he has been helping me with this. I never did introduce myself I'm Matthew, Matthew Connor.
"John! There you are I've got great news!" I said out of breath from running.
"Gosh you almost gave me a heart attack! What is it Matthew?" John said trying to calm down from me startling him.
"I've finally done it, I've figured out how to bring back dinosaurs." I said watching his expression change.
"What, how? Explain!" John said.
"Ok but don't get mad but I kinda made a velociraptor." I said looking down at the floor trying not to make eye contact.
"YOU DID WHAT!" John stood up and yelled. Everyone in the lab stared.
"Keep your voice down. Everything is ok everyone, nothing to see. Follow me." I said starting to walk off with John following behind me. I took him to the contaminant unit where I had the dinosaur.
"Stay there." I said and pointed to the ground where I put tape down so people don't go to far and get injured. I walked to a refrigerator and grabbed a uncooked steak.
"When I say now you open the door and wait for me to throw the steak into the room before closing it." I said to John behind me.
"NOW!" I said getting ready to throw the steak. John pressed the button to open the door and I throw the steak in there and the velociraptor starts running towards the door trying to escape.
"John close the door the dinosaurs coming at me. JOHN NOW CLOSE IT NOW!" I said to John hoping that he closes it. John finally closed the door and I let out a sigh of relief.
"Gosh that was close, John why didn't you close it when I told you? John are you you gonna answer, what's wrong?" I said looking at Johns nervous expression.
"We need to stop this right now!" John said suddenly having a serious expression.
"What are you talking about?" I said very confused.
"What I'm saying is we need to get rid of this dinosaur, all of the papers. I don't even know why we did this in the first place." John said trying to think.
"You want me to discard all of our hard word? Everything we've worked on for months? Why, why should I?" I said starting to get angry.
"Matthew what if that thing gets loose, it'll kill everyone. Do you really want that to happen?" John said trying to convince me.
"No I don't. But how are we gonna kill the the raptor before it kills us?" I said starting to get worried.
"We'll shoot, we have a gun in that cabinet, you can shoot it while I open the door." John said while walking to the cabinet and pull out the gun. He throws me the gun, he starts walking towards the button but before he could press it I shot him in the leg.
"I'm sorry John but I can't just throw away all my hard work forgive me." I said while grabbing some of my papers.
"Matthew you don't have to do this listen what are you gonna do when you open that door that dinosaur will kill everyone including you." John said trying to convince me not to do it. I grab the gun and press the button to open the door but when the door opens I shoot the raptor multiple times killing it. I drop the gun and get on my knees and start crying.
"I'm so sorry John I don't know what got into me." I said looking at John
"It's fine but can you take me to a hospital?" John said holding his leg where I shot it. I pick him up and put his arm on my shoulder and carry him to the hospital. I apologize again and he said he understands and won't press charges. So I head back to the lab to get rid of all that stuff but when I got there everything was missing including the velociraptors body.
"SOMEBODY STOLE MY STUFF!"
