This is perhaps the 3rd time ive had this dream, some details may have been slightly different, but the basis of the dream remained the same. It seemed so realistic that when i finally wake up, im slightly confused and have to look around my room to remember where i am.
I wake up in a room, it partly resembles a dorm room and also at the same time a hospital room, theres a desk, a seemingly normal bed except that its raised off the floor similar to what a hospital would have, monitors, medical equipment and a small bathroom. I dont have any visible signs of recent surgery, no iv, and not connected to any of the monitoring equipment. I sit up and look around, still in clothes as if i had fallen asleep suddenly, i turn and take my legs off the bed. When i try to stand the 1st time my legs buckle and i fall to the floor, i use the bedside table and bed to pull myself back up. I slowly make my way to the door, my legs weak as if i hadnt used them in some time, the door simply pushes open into a hallway of doors. Walking down, all the other doors are locked, no sign of any1 else anywhere, finding my way to what appears to be a cafeteria, again no1 is around though and everything is locked. I go down amother hallway until i come to what seems to be a few rows of cubicles, walking through to another open room, this time it appears to be a breakroom. Through this room i finally find what appears to be an escalator currently going up, but upon touching the rail it switches direction, now going down towards what looks like a lobby of some sort. I step on it and begin going down, i enter the lobby still on the moving steps, now a moving walkway like you would find at an airport. My legs weak again i find myself squatting down and holding onto the rails, before i realize whats going on, im outside the building, moving along the inside of the sidewalk. Looking around i now see people walking around, cars driving on the street and then i see what appear to be military jets flying in the sky. These jets dont fly like jets though, they seem to hover and strafe through the air, i follow 1 for a moment as it seems to circle a small area, almost like it was looking for something or some1. I want to get off the moving sidewalk and as soon as i think it, it ends and the regular concrete sidewalk is approaching, i step off as i carefully stand again. I continue walking the direction i was facing, unsure where i was or where i was trying to go, the city didnt have any buildings over 3 or 4 stories tall, it felt like it was out of a different time. There was a large building with a clock tower, reminded me of a town or city hall, there was a large banner on the building, cant recall what it said though. I continue walking towards what seemed like downtown, there were signs hanging over doorways and displays in windows, they were all kind of glitchy looking, like they werent real but holograms or something similar. After exiting downtown it looked as though the town ended and was just a vast empty landscape past the sidewalk, trees, fields, empty skies, almost as i step off the sidewalk suddenly i was stepping onto sidewalk again. It wasnt downtown though, it was a different part of the city, i turn to see more city behind me. I turn to walk the opposite direction i was faving, confused, passing people, some looking at me as i walk past. None of the city looks like any ive walked through previously, a jet hovering above, but this time when i follow it it seems to be a hologram as well. In reality it seems to be some sort of ufo disguised as a jet, rubbing my eyes i start walking a bit quicker, now some of the peoples faces are beginning to glitch and more people begin to look at me as i start jogging quicker, trying to find my way out. Soon there are police cars with lights and sirens on the streets, more jets are now hovering above and what appears to be security officers are now approaching me. I run into what i think is some kind of grocery store, but the building is empty inside, theres like an elevator or something at the other side of the store everytime, but inalways wake up before getting to the door.
So its weird, its always a geocery store, when i apprpach the edge of the city im always "teleported" back into the city and thats when i start seeing the jets are an illusion of sorts. Ill edit and add details if i remember more or have another dream.
