Popy's POV

A week ago I sent an email and a instagram message to Jennifer Lopez asking her if she could possibly be my host mom during my student exchange year. I don't know why I did it, it is impossible for her to say yes, she is a huge star, and she is so busy all the time. At least I tried you know, somehow in my head I thought that she would answer.

Jennifer's POV

A few days ago Benny told me about a girl called Popy who asked me to be her host mom, I didn't even know what that meant, adopt her?. While Benny was explaining me everything I got a call so the conversation stopped there.

 Later that day we were all hanging out in the living room, the kids were playing and I was watching a movie with Alex when Benny came and told me if I had thought about Popy, everybody started to make me questions about her, so I had to explained them everything, of course with a little help from Benny, and they were all so excited, Max was literally kneeling saying "mom please say yes", and the girls were saying exactly the same, I've never seemed the that excited , I didn't know what to do so I talked to Alex...

Jennifer: Baby omg look at them, I don't know what to do, what do think?

Alex: I actually think that is a very good idea, you always say that you have a lot of love to give, and I know that you would be such good host mom for her. She speaks spanish so she can help all of us with that and she seems like a really good girl. If you are not completely sure, I can reach out a little bit about her...

Jennifer: so, this is the weird thing, I have been thinking about it the whole day and I don't know why so reach out about her, and let me know, and if everything it's fine we will contact her ok?

Alex: well it's good that you said that because I just got an email with all we have to know about her...

Jennifer: how could you do that 

Alex: Benny told me this morning, and he also said that you looked very interested about her, so I called the agency that she is with and.... 

Jennifer: thanks Papi you are the best, I love you

Alex: love you too...

THE NEXT MORNING 

Jennifer's POV

I was up all last night reading everything about Popy, and I actually got really excited with all of this, but I can't tell the kids yet, I have to contact her first and see how it goes.

I told Benny to ask her if she could give us her phone, so then Alex and I could facetime with her.

Popy's POV 

I was at my second class on my school and I got an email from Benny saying " Hey is Benny here, how are you?,  Jennifer wants to facetime with you so there is any possibilities that you can give me your number?, I'll be waiting for your answer, have a good day"

When I finished reading it, I didn't get really excited because I thought that she was going to facetime me to say no, but anyways, at least she was going to say no in a very nice way. So I sent him an email with everything to contact me, and he answered very quick saying that Jennifer was going to facetime me at 1 pm of that day, then I got really nervous.

THE FACETIME

Jennifer: Hi sweetie how are you?

Popy: (very nervous) hiiii, good and you?

Jennifer: we are good thanks...( smiling and without knowing what to ask)

Alex: hi I'm Alex, Jennifer's boyfriend, we are very excited to know more about you

Popy: well I'm 17 years old, currently in high school, I have two little sisters, I practice gymnastics, I'm also in the choir of my school, I love to dance , and I don't know what else to tell you (saying that with a very cute face, trying not to look really excited)

Jennifer: oh wow you do a lot of things, we actually have a lot of things in common...

Alex: you do a lot of sports too...

(they had a fun time with the facetime)

Jennifer's POV

Omg Popy was so cute, she was really nice to us, she didn't even seemed like a crazy fan or something, know I really want to host her, so I asked Alex what he thinks...

Jennifer: Baby what do you think? 

Alex: she was really nice, just how I told you before, she looks like a really good girl, so if you want to host her I will support you 

Jennifer: OMG THANK YOU, I don't  know why I got this excited but I really want to do this. Now we have to talk to the kids

Alex: I got it...... EMME, MAX, TASHI, ELLA COME HERE NOW!

Jennifer: well that was fast HAHAHAA

kids: we are going

(when they got in their bedroom)

Tashi: btw the scream was unnecessarily

Alex: oh no believe me, it was

Jennifer: ok everybody, now that you are here, we have a huge announcement 

Emme: are you pregnant?

Ella: omg are you gonna have a baby?

Max: I want a baby brother!

Tashi: omg a baby that is really cute, congratulations!!!

Alex: ok everyone stop...

Jennifer: (funny laugh) we are not pregnant ok?

Tashi: so what is it then...?

Jennifer: do you guys remember Popy

kids: yes

Alex: we just got out of the phone with her 

kids: and... (with a excited face)

Jennifer and Alex: we decided to host her this year...

tashi: YAY! I'm gonna have a big sister 

Max: she can help me with my spanish homework now 

Ella and Emme: she can play with us when tashi doesn't want to..

(After that they talked about how everything was going to work, they started to prepare everything for her because she was going to arrive in a month, just two weeks before the kids start school again)
