Going to the movies has always been hidden pleasure for me because I love sitting in a cool theaters on a hot summer day and watching a movie that will captivate my imagination. This year (2019) I should be ashamed of myself I've only seen 6 movies this year so far...

* Captain Marvel

* Avengers Endgame

* Toy Story 4

* The Lion King (2019)

* Spiderman: Far From  Home

* Blinded By The Light

*IT Chapter Two

Of course I'll be seeing Star Wars Rise of the Skywalker with my Dad in December but I was thinking of taking my Dad to see the remake of Midway for his birthday in November. But yeah I usually see like a dozen or so movies in a year but this year, honestly their hasn't been much out there that I want to run to the theater to spend my money to see and that's just sad for a movie lover such as myself.

Some of my favorite movie franchises are:

Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Fifty Shades, Toy Story, and countless others. What can I say I'm a big geek when it comes to my fandom :D

 My first movie memory was my Dad taking me to see Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs when I was 5 and then Bambi when I was 6 and let me tell you that was a dramatic experience for me. I remember seeing (SPOLIER ALERT!) Bambi's Mom getting killed and crying like a baby and my Dad had to take me out of the theater and the manager came over to us to make sure I was okay. After I settled down a bit, the manager gave me a free kid's meal and me and my Dad went back to watch the rest of the film.

I associate movies with events in my life from first dates, birthdays both mine and my friends or my Dad mostly because my Mom isn't a big movie goer and other events in my life. I remember my brother Gary taking me to see TMNT, Last Action Hero and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York which was special time for us because we would pig out on junk food and watch the movie without our parents around. He also got me into the Star Wars film and I remember at the age of 5 I begged my Dad to let me go with them to see Return of the Jedi with him and Gary and I fell in love with the Ewok and the big fight between Darth and Luke.

Well that's enough down memory lane for today I'll be using this "story" section to add my movie reviews from IMDB incase you're interested. I'll do the latest ones from this year and just add my profile at the end of each review incase you'd like to read the older reviews. I'll work on that later tonight. :)
