Simmer simmer
Oh mind of mine
Blooded broth and blooded broil
I have two
Yet I seek one
The road not taken
Hyenas throw their heads back
Vampires make love
To the sounds of the storm above
A stake through my heart
Red runs free
Welcome to my soiree
Here you see
Vale of sorrow
Landing of pain
Anxiety time and time again
Storm clouds
Over my burning cauldron
A scorching summer sun
Cackles of crimson
Gurgling by the grave
Heart of stone I must save
Birthing
Of the fallen angel
Eyes of hell
Claim to the throne
Held together by wounded pride
I wake up on the other side
Rendezvous
In the woods
Spears and black hoods
Stacattoed howls
Wolves of the night
The darkness feels just right

Conflict
PoetryThis poem is more dense with metaphors than usual. It's the first time I've written something like this. It talks about the conflicts in one's mind when one begins to get poisoned by evil.
