The Love of Maxerica

Chapter 1

Maxon POV:

Today was they day that I was going to announce who my future wife is going to be. I knew I wanted to pick America, but with that Leger guard in the way I don't know what will happen. Suddenly my parents came into the room to confirm who my choice is going to be.

"Maxon we really want to know, who is going to be your future wife," Mom said.

"I think that America is the one," I answered.

I looked at Father because he really never liked America. He looked angry but kept it in.  

"Let's go Amberly, oh and Maxon the Engagement Ceremony starts in an hour, summon your butlers to get you ready," Father said.

As I got ready I thought about America and I knew that I really had to marry her otherwise my life will be painful. Then I thought about the ring and Kriss, there was no way that ring was going to fit on Kriss' finger no matter how hard she tried. 

Finally I made my decision.

America POV:
I knew that I was not going to get picked no matter how good I acted in front of Maxon after what happened with Aspen. I don't think that Maxon will ever forgive me. As I sat in the car next to Maxon during the Engagement Ceremony, I thought about everything I had put him through. 

Suddenly, coming out of my dreams I saw Maxon stand up.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this past few months I had got to know 35 beautiful women. But there is only one woman that I want to spend the rest of my life with."

I knew it was going to be Kriss, it was going to be Kriss. I looked around the room because it was probably the last time that I was going to see it. But I didn't expect Maxon to get on one knee in front of me.

"America Singer you are my whole life. You are the love of my life. You are the most beautiful girl in the world. Words cannot explain how much I love you. Will you do me the pleasure of becoming my wife?"

"YES!!" I squealed. 

He slipped the ring on my finger and kissed me. Oh how much I love him.  

"I love you Maxon, I love you soo much."

"I love you too America."
