It was a bright and sunny morning when Xera awoke from her deep slumber. Bed-headed, she made her way out of her room and down the stairs to eat breakfast. On her way down, she heard her mother call for her, "Coming," she answered. Her mother made her some eggs and french toast, "You ready for your new school," her mother asked. Her mouth full of french toast, she shakes her head. "Why is that," her mother questioned, "is it because you have to make new friends??" Xera nods as she goes upstairs to pack her clothes, because today she has to move into the dorms.
Holding her backpack on her back and carrying her suitcase, she makes her way to the girls dormitory. On her way there, she sees a group of guys. They vary in height and hair color. As she passes by them, she tries to stay invisible, until the tall one with red hair notices her. "Hey," he says "are you new here??" She nods her head slowly. One of the guys in the back shouts "Yo Karma, you got a shy one over there" Karma replies with a "Shut the fuck up Jared" So the red haired guy is Karma, good to know she thinks. "Before being rudely interrupted," Karma states, "I was going to ask if you needed help getting to the girl's dormitory." She replies with another slow nod.
After being led to the dorms by Karma, she enters and finds her room. She looks down at a card she has, "Huh, it says I'm roomed with a girl named Laura," she thinks aloud, " I hope she is nice." She uses the key she was given, unlocks the door and enters to silence. "Guess she's not here," she sets her stuff down in her room and starts to make it more her style. After completing her room decorating, she lies down on the bed, "I cant wait for tomorrow" she whispers, then she falls asleep.
