(bit of backstory)

Law 271: Half breeds have no authority over the nest no matter the relation

Law 283: Half breeds are forbidden to have descendants due to birth defects

Law 268: All half breeds must state their heritage before the nest acceptance ceremony

    Annabeth continuously looks over these two laws while holding her stomach, knowing her child is on the way. The nest knew nothing of her being a half breed but that doesn't mean the nest wont notice the uselessness of her child to come.

   Her husband, Christopher, walks into the room. Dispite the laws, he had married a half breed, ignoring the fact that he is the high lord.

   "I hope this isnt too soon for Cedric. He lost is mom barely a year ago." She gets to her feet and places a hand on her husband's face, softly tracing his jawline.

   "Cedric will be fine. I only hope he is a good older brother." Christopher nods his head then leans his forehead against his wife's. Allowing his eyes to closeness he finally takes in some air and relaxes for a brief moment. Tired from a days work, he allows himself to be vulnerable.

(Eight years later)

   Luca runs around in the yard, attempting to keep up with the other children. His feet not quite as fast as the others. Cedric is by far the fastest considering hes the high lord son, but Luca should be just as fast.

   Annabeth sits on the porch steps watching her children run around trying to top there highest speed along with the other kids.
 

   The seven of the kids continue playing tag and racing while Tommy, the right hand of the house, exits the house wearing a face of sheer rage.

   "Get up." His voice is cold spoken and demanding. Annabeth's blood runs cold, fearing what's to come. "Inside. Now." His features show no remorse as he stares her down.

   "Of course, Tommy." She follows her given instructions and enters the house. 

   She enters the house to see the main court gathered in the living room, though Christopher was no where to be seen, leaving the court without a judge.

   "What is this?" Camilla's  voice echoed out in fear. She held a paper of birth records. A human birth certificate from a human hospital, a place all vampires knew not to enter.

   "Are you a half breed?" Simon's gruff accent scolded in concern. Just as those words left his lips, Christopher walks into the room. After hearing what was accused of his wife, he began to stand his ground, only to see the look on Annabeth's face. A look that was pleading out 'save yourself, not me'.

   "Did you know about this?!" Simon hissed out, taking her silence as a yes. He stood baffled for a moment before speaking.

   "No." The thought of having to kill his wife hurt him drastically, but she broke the law.

   "Then you know what's to come." Simon's voice was colder than ice. Annabeth nods her head once, then walked to her husband, placing a hand on his cheek. He leaned into the touch and closed his eyes, not caring that he let his guard down around the nest.

   She leans forward and gives in a gentle kiss in the lips. A few loose tears escape Christopers eyes. He keeps his eyes closed as she pulls away, just to be ripped apart by Simon and Tyrone. Blood splatters across the room as screams echo through the house.

    Camilla runs to the front porch to keep the children from entering. That's when the thought crossed his mind.

Luca

   His eyes shot open as he booked it to the porch. He makes it to Luca in 3 seconds flat. He holds his son in his arms while being crouched in his knees. Simon and Tyrone come outside followed by the rest of the men in house.

    "He's innocent. He couldnt help it, we didnt know. I won't let you hurt him." His voice come out horse but threatening. Dispite the tears, he sends shivers through the men.

   "He lives or we leave." Revoking his authority is dangerous. The process it take to remove yourself from a nest is fatal but with that high of a position, none who have attempted to leave with that rank has survived.

   "The boy can live." Tyrone speaks before anyone. Simon looks at him in disbelief.

   "You cant be serious. He's the descendant of a half breed, he barely has speed, his hunger will be uncontrollable, his senses will be weak, he'll be useless." Simon listed a few of the reasons Luca shouldn't live in a hate driven rant.

   "Be wont make it to 20. He will go through the normal aging process but once it hits the point where his time slows, the human side will kill him. Let that be his punishment." Tyrone turned from Simon to Christopher, "You want him to live, fine. But he will die a painful and long death. He will be looked down on and left behind. Nothing less that what something like him deserves."

   Cedric listened to what the adults were saying. Being 14, he understood most of what was happening. His love for his brother began to fade. Only becoming less with everyday that passed from that point on.

Half breeds and descendants notes:

1) They are much weaker than a normal vampire. The longer down the line of a half breeds child the more they become dysfunctional.

2) the hunger of a half breed is about 25% stronger than the average vampire which is about 80% stronger than a humans

So that's that. It's kinda short. I'm sorry this is just the back story there will be more added to it as the story progresses.
