Spider Man: A Little Closer to Home

A/N: This takes place after both cut scenes at the end of the last movie (Spider Man: Far From Home)

Peter stood on the top of the light fixture, staring at the blank screen in shock. Suddenly loud booing could be heard from all around him. A few people got out of their cars and began to swarm him.

Peter started to look around at the now mess as people tried to crowd forward to attack him. MJ was getting pushed around and started to cry, telling him to make his escape.

Peter quickly swung away to his apartment as the cries of people hating on him continued. He swings in through his window to find Happy and his Aunt May with their arms crossed in front of their chests, waiting impatiently for his return. "You have some explaining to do kid," Happy said with a stern expression . Peter looked to May who had sad eyes and looked nervous. "I-i didn't do it!," Peter stuttered out, trying to explain when Aunt May interrupted. "But the videos are all over the news!" Aunt May yelled.

"They're fake! He's the bad man!" Peter screeched, trying to clear his name. "I believe you Peter, but how will we get other people to believe you." Happy said with concern as he unfolded his arms. "If only Mr. Stark was here..." Peter said as he peered out the window at a large conveniently placed Iron Man billboard. "He would know what to do..." Peter showed a sad expression as he stared at the comically large stark face.

"Mr. Stark would believe in you and that you know what to do. He wanted you to be his successor, don't let him down. Ya know?" Happy put a reassuring hand on his shoulder and looked into his eyes. "We'll fix this!" "But I start school in two days!" Peter pointed out worriedly. They all turn to the camera in shock. "Huh!" They all gasp before turning back to each other.

Ned and Peter were currently sitting on Peters couch as they watched MJ pace back and forth. Happy and May watched from the kitchen. "Okay, so your secret identity has been revealed to the WHOLE world. How can we fix this... how can we fix this... Ah! We could remove you from the MCU!" MJ suddenly yelled out, only to think it back over when she saw their shocked faces. "No, that might make people more mad... We just have to find the proof that it was fake and that it wasn't you and that Mysterio was the bad guy. " MJ paced back and forth. "We know that, but how do we find said proof?" Aunt May pointed out. "We have to find the original videos of course! Maybe Nick Furry knows where!" MJ said. "Happy! Call him now!" Peter rose quickly from the couch pointing at Happy.

Happy whipped out his phone to call Nick Furry. After the exchange of a few words, Happy brought the phone from his ear. "What did he say?" Peter urged. "He said he's on his way, and that we have some explaining to do when he gets here."

Nick Furry sat on the couch as Peter paced back and forth. MJ was now sitting on a table. "Can you call the government to help us find the people behind this? Use the satellites to track where they went?" MJ asked. "We can try, but I have a feeling it won't work." Nick said as he rose from the couch. He started for the door before turning around and motioning everyone else to follow him. Everyone crowded into the van as Nick started to drive to Happy's private Jet. (they got a new one)

It was about an hour flight before they arrived in Washington DC. Everyone exited the jet and walked to another black van that awaited them. Nick had called said black van to come as they were on the jet, so once they landed it would be waiting. As they were driving to the government building, Nick explained to them the plan. Nick told them that he and Happy would go and converse with the government, while everyone else stayed in the van.

After they pulled up to the government, Nick and Happy climbed out of the van. Ned, Peter, and MJ all exchanged glances. "Please tell me you guys aren't leaving" May stated. "Oh come on May! We have to find out what's happening! This is about me after all!" Pater said approaching the van door. MJ and Ned followed Peter as they exited the van. They ran to a bush where they could see Happy and Nick through the window.

Peter tried to make out what they were saying but they couldn't understand. Nick Furry suddenly had an angry expression. They continued to talk to the government who didn't look so pleased. Happy started to turn around. "We should head back now Peter," Ned pointed out before they rose from the bushes and headed back to the van. "I don't think that they're going to help us..." Pete sighed.

Shortly after Peter, MJ and Ned climbed back into the van, Nick Furry and Happy also got back into the van. "They said they would need proof that Spider Man was innocent, and as of right now it didn't look like he was. So they don't seem to be much help." Nick said as he ordered the driver to bring them back to the private jet. "So we came all the way out here for nothing?" May said, a tad bit of anger could be heard in her tone.

Everyone piled onto the jet and took their seats. MJ turned to Peter and placed her hand on top of his. "We'll fix this, there's another way to find the proof, I can sense it!" She gave him a warm smile.

"Get a room!" Ned yelled from across the jet. With that, they were off to New York again.
