Divine Endearment | Soldier: 76 x Reader

Prologue

In Columbus, Ohio, you looked out into the field of your farmhouse, taking it all in. For the last time.
Today you were joining the Soldier Enhancement Program and this would likely be the last time you got to view the surrounding vicinity you lived on with your family.
You were a Marine, as was your father, and you made a promise to him to make him to fulfill his dreams for your life- to join the military. And you succeeded. You served for six years and after your service, you received a letter for an invitation to the Program.

You sigh and put your hands on your hips, listening to the birds sing their peaceful melodies. Until your mother called to you from the farmhouse porch.
"Sweetheart!" She shouted. "Come inside so we can get pictures and say goodbye!"
"Coming mom!" You shout back and make your way to the front door. As you step inside, your dogs greet you with kisses almost as if they knew this was your last day with them. Your aunt, uncle, mom, sisters and grandparents gathered around, flooding you with hugs and comments to send you on your way.
This happened last time you left for the military.

Afterwards, your mother talked to you privately. "Are you sure you want to do this?" She asked. Your mother was very supportive of everything you did, but this time she wasn't so sure. "I mean... Soldier Enhancement Program? Doesn't it kinda sound a little intense?"
"Mom," you attempt to reason with her, "I'll be fine."

Later a dark green Jeep comes and you load your stuff into the back and hop in. Due to the camp being in a remote, disclosed location, the military picked you up to ensure you didn't know where they were taking you.
To ensure this, the windows were tainted dark, barely making it able to see outside. And it was on auto drive. No driver whatsoever, just you.

After what felt like an eternity, the vehicle comes to a halt and the doors unlock. You step out onto dirt ground and around you is a vast field enclosed by a tall treeline. There were secured vaults and jogging soldiers being yelled at to go faster by their commanding officers.
One of the officers walks up to you. "Grab your shit and follow me." He orders. Swiftly, you grab your bags as he leads you to a building. Inside are bunk beds, most of which have already been taken. Some of the men eye you a little. Some of curiosity. Others of disgust that they have to work with a woman.
But you have gotten used to it by now. You drop your stuff and follow the CO into a room with chairs set up. You take a seat and within a few minutes, other soldiers began to fill the other seats. When everyone is seated, the earlier officer you were with walks up to the podium set on the stage.
"I am Officer Queens." He states. He was a tall ginger with a lithe build and hard, angular face. "But you will refer to me as Sir, otherwise I'll shove my foot up your ass so hard you'll sing soprano." A slight chuckle filled the room.
There are two guys sitting at your sides. To the left is a swarthy man with brown hair and brown eyes. To the right is a blonde with sky blue eyes and a somewhat proud look based upon his posture.
He looked, arguably, cute..
