It was the first day after winter break. The once empty halls were full again with loud teenagers. Marisol opened her new locker and put her books inside. She heard a voice from behind her "Marisol!" that caused her to turn around. Before her was the love deprived puppy Mikey, He smiled.
"How was break?" He asked look
"Fine, I picked up another job." She answered pulling a Taco Bell hat from her locker and waving it.
"Oh congratulations!" He said looking from the floor to her.
"Thanks." She said smiling at him.
Shortly after this the bell rang, and suddenly the once full halls where empty again.
"Bye Mikey" said Marisol walking away.
"Okay, bye"

Marisols boring English class was now over and she was heading towards her favorite class. History. She walked in the door and was greeted by Mr.Iglesias with a smile before she sat down. It was odd, Mikey wasn't there yet. He was always there before her. She just dismissed it.
It was 20 minutes into class before Mikey walked in, he interrupted Mr. Iglesias.
Mr Iglesias looked at the doorway where Mikey was standing. "Oh Hi mikey"
"S-sorry for being late," he said making his way to his seat.
"Why where you late?" Asked Marisol glancing over at him.
"oh...uh—I—well—um"
"Don't hurt yourself now" remarked Rakeem. The class broke out in giggles.
"Good one" said Walt as him and Rakeem fist bumped.
Mikey shrunk in his chair.
Marisol rolled her eyes, "No one was talking to you."
