Chapter One

Michael Garrison, also known as 'Dewey' was a student attending Yamamura International High School.he was born in the United States but the whereabouts of exactly where is unknown. His grades were average, had no friends, and lived alone in an apartment complex. Dewey was typically what you would call a "Nobody." The days before his death, he was looking out off the balcony of his quiet, one-bedroom apartment. taking in the sight of the city lights surrounded by the dark sky. Dewey pondered over his worth in this world and figured that he had really no one to care about him. and so just a couple of nights after, on his fifteenth birthday he stepped off the railing on his apartment's balcony.

As soon as he felt his body hit the cold, rough ground he jumped up in a seat as if it were a dream. looking around he noticed he was in an office of sorts, he started to stare at a framed picture saying "Gōsutoshiti, a place where life stops and becomes more fun!". Right after he turned away from the picture he comes face to face with a man in a business suit and looking at his watch. "Okay kid, look here, Ya died and now you are here in Gōsutoshiti, a place where life... aw screw it. Just go, I'll give you a proper welcome later I'm Incredibly late and need to go" He pulls out a card and flings it to Dewey and Walks into the wall, he seemed to be in an intangible state. Looking at the Card Dewey Noticed that the name was Lucifer. "Huh," He says to himself and Forces himself up from his chair and heads towards the door, putting the card away and placing his hand on the door handle to be instantly transported to 'Gōsutoshiti City Square'. "The Hell?!?!" at this moment he finally took everything in and started to realize that this must be the after-life.

"This isn't Hell". Says a Young Woman in a monotone voice. Dewey Turns around and notices the girl. "The name is Reiko Kozakuro, and I'll be showing you around Gōsutoshiti".
