A/N - Warning - Bullying, and mentions of suicide.

~Hisashi Midoriya wasn't always a bad man, he loved his wife and was overjoyed with the thought of having a child.... But when that said child turned four while he was overseas and turned out not to have a quirk, Hisashi didn't rightly know what to do. He felt his own guilt and worry consuming him, he knew how quirkless people were treated his own father had been thought quirkless for a time, although he was apparently just a late bloomer. He also knew that Izumi wasn't actually his daughter. Inko and he had been friends for a very long time and he'd been in love with her from the start, so when she came to him about the results of a very drunk one night stand he knew what he would suggest, and after a time it seemed that Inko even fell in love with him. But he couldn't watch the child he thought of as his little girl suffer, so he ran, he escaped and hid away from his own shame hating himself for his cowardice.

~4 year old Izumi didn't understand why his daddy left, she just knew that it made her mommy cry even more than when Izumi found out she was quirkless. So she apologized and held her just like her mom did for her. Izumi was soon back at school, Kacchan running up to her asking about her quirk... that didn't end so well. That was the day she got her first scar.

*2 years later*

Inko Midoriya frankly had enough of seeing her daughter beaten and broken everyday she came home from school, so she went to the only person who she knew who could voice her frustration for her. Her own timid nature making it hard for her to express her feelings. Taking a deep breath she knocked lightly on MItsuki Bokugou's door.

Izumi was at home sleeping off the pain medicine the clinic gave her for the severe burns across her sides, they'd told her that they'd need to head to a hospital tomorrow if her chest and ribs were still hurting seeing as her body was bruised but they couldn't tell if anything was broken for sure.

Mitsuki opened the door turning to yell as she pulled it towards her, "Oi, Brat did you finish your homework?" "Of Course, you OLD HAG, who do you think I am?" "Who the FUCK YOU CALLING OLD HAG?!" Inko flinched back slightly from the overly loud screaming from parent and child. Mitsuki soon turned to her a big smile on her face as she pulled Inko into a tight hug. "Hey sweetie, what can I do for ya? Come on in, you're just in time for some tea." Mitsuki pulled the plump green haired woman into the room with her leading her to the couch, Inko stammering and mumbling along the way. The blond woman couldn't help the small grin that lifted up the corners of her mouth, Katsuki had come home today complaining about Izumi's own muttering habit, mother like daughter. She pushed the smaller green haired woman onto the couch taking the seat beside her. "Take a deep breath and talk to me, Masura will bring the tea out in a moment, okay?" Inko calmed considerably and began wringing her hands. "Izu-Izumi, we, we had to go to the clinic. The burns, they were so bad and the bruising, the doctors said we might have to take her to the hospital. She won't tell me who did it, this is the second time this week, it's only wednesday and it just keeps getting worse. I don't know what to do, I've talked to the teachers the principle. They all say they can't do anything unless they see it, but there's no way they don't see it, there was blood dripping down her body, and I -I don't know how to help her. I'm so scared, she's all I have and and... when they took her to the back they said that her being this way if it continued, her ribs could break and puncture her lung. Mitsuki, they - they said - they said my baby could die." all of this was said in a shaky tear filled voice. As MItsuki tried her hardest to listen without blowing up, trying to let Inko finish. Whoever this fucking brat was she was going to obliterate them, the teachers as well hell might as well add the whole fucking school. NO one gets away with hurting her little Izu, hell Mitsuki helped deliver the little angel when Inko unexpectedly went into labor a month too early while they were driving to her parents' home in the country. She pulled over on the side of the road her own 3 month old son strapped to her front and delivered the tiny Izumi while on the phone with paramedics, the fuckers kept telling her to try and wait till emergency services got there. Mitsuki had even been the first to hold her seeing as Inko had passed out shortly after the ordeal. So no Mitsuki was not going to let some little fucker ruin that little angel's life. As Inko finished talking tears streaming down her face Mitsuki took action. "Oi, Brat get your ass down here now, it's important."

Katsuki wanted to snap back, but there was some part of him {the part that still had some semblance of self preservation} that stopped him. He ran down the stairs only to see Aunty Inko bawling her eyes out as his mother glared at the wall murderously her left hand clenching as she tried to comfort Inko with the other. What a crybaby, mother like daughter. He kissed his teeth as he walked towards his mother. She saw him and motioned with a hand for him to sit across from them, his dad coming in seconds latter to hand Inko a cup of tea that shook in her hands. His mother's eyes focused on him and he felt like an ant under a magnifying glass.

"Katsuki, I need you to tell me who it is that's been hurting Izumi." His mother's voice was low and calm, which made his blood run cold. He felt his heart clench.... "Huh, what do you mean?" he tried to pull his usual confidence up around him as a shield. Mitsuki's eyes widened then narrowed on her son, "Katsuki, Izumi was seriously hurt, the doctors said if this keeps up she could die," Inko let out a horrible sob at that putting her face in her hands. "They said the stress on her ribs could eventually break them, because they've had no actual time to heal, they could eventually puncture her lungs and kill her... we need to know who is doing this." Katsuki felt his hands burn and his heart clench, this was his fault, Izu could die because of him. He'd just wanted to show her, show her that she couldn't look down on him, that she couldn't be around anybody but him, punish her a little bit for thinking that he'd let her become a hero when it was so dangerous for her. He'd just wanted her to see how out of her depth she'd be, how much she needed him to protect her; really she just needed protection from him. As Inko continued to break down she saw the look that passed over her son's face and she dreaded the answer that she already knew, she couldn't look at him right now, that boy who she loved with all her heart and right now she couldn't bear to look at him. Her voice was quite and low as she made sure Inko couldn't hear her, "Go to your room, I'll be there in a moment." Katsuki's face lifted to see his mother her entire body turned away from him and he felt the tears pricking at the corner of his eyes, he deserved it he knew it. He turned around walking quietly up the steps towards his bedroom.

Mitsuki couldn't tell her best friend right now she couldn't bring herself to even say it out loud. So she just rubbed Inko's back as she continued to cry about her poor baby who had been waking up with nightmares and screaming for the past two years and coming home tattered and full of bruises. As Katsuki listened tears streamed down his face and he had to bite his lip to keep the sound from escaping his mouth. Why didn't she ever stop him, why didn't she ever tell, and that's when it hit him; this entire time, she'd still been protecting him even after he'd told her to take a swan dive off the roof. He'd been so stupid, he wasn't protecting her, he was destroying her. Inko's voice suddenly cut through and her voice wobbled as she spoke quietly. "I found one of her diaries, she never puts their name, but she writes about it. I don't even know if they're a girl or boy, they- they told her to kill herself, told her that Hisashi - that Hisashi left because of her. She's six Mitsuki, how can anyone say that to her, she's nothing but kind. The worst part, she refuses to tell because she doesn't want to ruin their chances of being a hero. She seemed to calm for a moment though when she gave a small light chuckle. She wrote about Katsuki too, at least that's normal. She wants to be a hero so she can continue to be by his side. Who knows we could be inlaws one day... I need to go check on her thank you and tell Katsuki thank you as well alright?" Katsuki hated himself, he hated what he'd done he was never going to have Izumi. He was poison and he didn't deserve her not in any way.

[Y'all I know he's a dramatic six year old]

~Hisashi Midoriya continuously tried to find better work in America, seeing as it would soon be Izumi's birthday, he'd finally decided that he would come home this year; but that would take money. Money to support his family and get all the way back across the ocean.

He looked towards the purple and black mist like figure rubbing a hand across his stubble covered chin. "What would I have to do? I'm not one for outright killing someone, I'm also not really into torture or anything like that." The smoke like figure chuckled softly, "No need to worry, you'd just be conducting some... experiments for us. It's a rather painful procedure but you just have to administer the substance and drop off the test subject." Hisashi's brows rose, "So kidnapping?" "Think of it as giving the scum of the streets a new purpose, the subjects are yours to choose, we leave it to your discretion." Hisashi nodded letting a puff of smoke slip out his nostrils. "I'll take the job."
