The Blind Marriage

I was laughing for a moment but that got cut off by a very familiar voice "MENGRUI!!!" her voice echoed through the house and I tensed up instantly.

I quickly got up from my seat "I'm not here" I mumbled and made my way to my wardrobe, climbing in to hide away, there was a crack that I peeked through so I could see into the room, Shuanghui watched me hide inside, his attention to the door and she walked in

"I take it Kong Ma let you in" Dianfa huffed out, Shuanghui remained silent watching from the bed, she didn't even acknowledge him lying there

"where is he" she huffed out in annoyance folding her arms at her brother "where is he gege, you said he was out of the hospital, so where is he" she stomped her foot and he didn't even flinch when she moved closer to him

He continued eating the fruit as if she was just a slight mumble in his ear "maybe he's still showering" not aiming his answer towards her, he glanced at Shuanghui before he added "trying to wash a certain pest's stench from him" I frowned, I knew he was talking about Shuanghui

"I am not a pest" Shuanghu growled out in anger, glaring at Dianfa as he sat on my bed placing his phone on the table

I covered my mouth as I saw the dark glare in Dianfa's eyes, "if you are not a pest then you are a parasite" a sinister grin spread on his lips as he turned to his meimei "Meimei, this old man is trying to take your innocent Mengrui away from you"

I gasped as her eyes went dark and her face went red with anger, she turned to Shuanghui for the first time who I think rolled his eyes at what Dianfa just said, he wasn't watching enough to realise she raised her hand and let a slap hit him on his cheek, he gaped at her in shock as she yelled at him "stay away from my man!" he voice was demanding and angry, I jolted in shock from watching her smack Shuanghui, he didn't deserve that slap a few coat hangers fell as I moved trying to catch them, they clearly made to much noise because next thing I know the wardrobe doors where being pulled open "mengrui" she practically screamed into my ear causing me to flinch

I gave her a light uncertain smile as she pulled me from the wardrobe, she was taller than me and almost the same height as Dianfa "Hey Shuying, you found me" I shot a glare at Dianfa who grinned softly, then I looked at Shuanghui who still seemed slightly pissed, his cheek was red from the smack, I gave him an apologetic look which seemed to have calmed him down a bit because he didn't look so angry, even with the gritted teeth and the light glare towards Shuying

"Is it true" Shuying whined "Is he trying to take you away from me" she cried out quietly and she tightly wrapped her arms around me, I frowned and tried to untangle her from my arms? "tell him you're mine and that he can't have you, tell him"

I sighed finally untangling myself from her tight grip "I'm sure he would be more interested in you than me" I looked over at Shuanghui who seemed slightly more pissed off at what was happening before looking back at Shuying "Dianfa is just teasing you like always"

A look of relief showed on Shuying's face and for some reason, I felt guilty for saying this to her "good because that old man doesn't deserve to even look at you, he can go away" I frowned at that statement

Before I could say anything Shuanghui spoke "I'm going to go get some Ice, do you want a drink Xiao Rui?" he had a forced smile as he looked at me

I sighed shaking my head and catching his eyes with mine, he seemed sadder than angry now but I could still see the irritation in his features before he turned and walked out of the room, "who's Xiao Rui?" Shuying asked confused

"Why don't you just kick him out already," Dianfa said crossing his arms with a frown fixated on his face as he had another piece of fruit

I folded my arms and frowned back "neither of you leave when I ask you to so why do you expect him to leave, why would he listen when no one else does" I huffed out, slightly annoyed with Dianfa's attitude towards Shuanghui, I know he's overprotective but this is a little too much

Shuying pouted "we will be family, and that man is nothing more than an outsider"

I looked at her confused for a moment then it clicked to me that she swore she was marrying me when she was 10 and hasn't changed since, now she's 15 and still clinging to that childish promise

I sighed and sat down on my bed, rubbing my thumb against my temple "ma seems to like him, and he's not that bad, he is a nice guy, I think I kinda like him too..... he did help me, and so did his brother's if it wasn't for him and his family I could be still struggling with my mother's company that I now own, and it wouldn't be solved in search a short time"

Shuying sounded excited after I stopped speaking, I had my eyes closed so I couldn't see her "you own the company now?" I think everything else I said just went straight over her head "I knew you could do it Mengrui you are always so smart and clever and amazing, you will be a great leader for your ma's company"
