~20~ Sweet Snow Ball

Start from the beginning

"I love you, Y/n L/n." He whispers softly.

"I love you, Steve Harrington."

He smiles before sitting back in his seat and I sit back in mine. I flick my head back to look for Dustin in the ball when I notice Nancy looking in our direction. With a weird fire in her eyes as if she's paralyzed in that spot to just glance at us.

With jealousy.

Steve drives off and I don't get a chance to see the rest of Nancy's expression. I sit back relaxed in the passenger seat of Steve's car as we drive along the night road.

I'm so glad the battle with the Upside Down is over. So glad...

"Wait, where are we going?" I ask.

"I thought that going to your place would be nice." He shrugs. I feel a chill run down my spine. Max is at the ball, Mom and Dad went off to a party, Billy needed space. Nobodies home.

"It'll be fine."

He takes one hand off the steering wheel and down in the middle. A smile tugs at the corner of my lips as I put my arm down and our fingers lace together.

He parks his car out of side on the opposite side of the road in the darkness. The both of us get out as we walk to my house.

"So, is anyone home?" He asks.

"No. But that's not the point." I shake my head. I unlock the house with the keys and we walk to my room. The both of us kick our shoes off.

"What do you want to do?" I ask him.

"Maybe just talk. Me and you." He grins and takes his hand in mine. I give him a peck on the lips before shutting the door behind us.

"The kids are at the ball, Billy needed space and the parents went to a party." I say and turn to him.

"Well, that's alright. I'm sure all of them will be happy."

I nod. "Did you want anything to eat?"

He shakes his head. "I'll be fine."

He takes a seat on the spinny chair by my desk as I sit on my bed.

"What's been your interest for when you wanted to leave school?" He asks me.

"Well, because of my power." I say looking down at my hand. "It isn't exactly a helpful routine for me to deal with or anything I believe I could use for my advantage."

I look up at him. "But I figured if I can't get one of those rich high and business-like paying jobs then maybe something smaller would work. One of the skills I got from school was a class for Hospitality. And that includes being a Bartender."

"Oh." He says surprised. "I didn't really see you doing that."

"Not a lot of people will." I tell him.

I get up and pace around the room a little. "This is our last year. I'm gonna have to look for a job."

"You're smart Y/n. I'm sure nobody would pass you up."

"Thanks, Steve."

I go up to him and he smiles as he turns to me. He takes my hand as I stand up and he sits down. He has this sleazy look on his face that is also unique because of his happiness.

"Don't judge me."

He gives me a wide-eyed look before realizing and settles. He pulls me a bit closer to prevent me from falling as I sit on his lap facing him.

"Jeez Y/n. You're full of surprises." He scoffs with a smirk.

"Is that bad?" I ask.

"No. Of course not." He grins. He leans up and kisses me which I instantly kiss back. We're kissing for a little bit longer as he runs a hand through my hair. He puts his other hand on one of my thighs which I pull away and look down at it.

"You alright."

I silently nod and turn to him.

"It's just us in the house. What's the worse that could happen?"

He moves his hand further up my thigh watching my face a bit as I bite my lip. He goes up and puts a hand on my face, leaning up and kissing me again. He puts both hands around my waist as I accidentally grind down and wrap my arms around my neck.

He groans in the kiss before lifting me up off the chair. I squeak before he lays me down on the bed. I feel my heart beating in my chest as he crawls on the bed and hovers above me inches beside me.

"Steve, this isn't a good idea." I whisper flustered.

"Why not?" He purrs.

"My parents or Billy could come home!"

He looks back to the door as if searching. "Weird. I don't see any family that could come home."

"Steve..." I laugh softly.

He smashes his lips onto me again and our kiss becomes a bit heated with some heavy breathing. As I lift my hand up and tug on his hair a little, he groans again and sits up.

I smirk at him as both of us are flustered. He's about to throw his jacket off, when we hear clicking. Unlocking. Our heads flip toward the door. We hear the front door open and shut.

"Shit..." I grumble under my breath.

Steve quickly hops off and dives, rolling under the bed. He pulls the blanket down to hide the gap under the bed and brings his shoes under it. My bedroom door opens up to show Billy.

"Hey, what's going on in here?" He asks gruffly.

"Nothing. Why?" I ask.

"I thought I heard something fall."

I shake my head. "Nah. I'm just jumping around."

He gives me a strange look. "That's weird."

"I am weird!" I pout.

He sighs, shaking his head. "Whatever. Just keep it down okay? I want to get some sleep."

He shuts the door and I sigh. I hear him shut his door which Steve pokes his head out. I nod and he silently climbs back on the bed close to me.

"You have to leave." I say sadly.

He shakes his head. "I don't trust Billy. I'll stay the night."

My eyes widen. "That is such a risk!"

"It's a risk I'm willing to take."

He connects our lips together and I let out a soft whimper. We both sit up and I pull my lips away.

"Steve, we can't do this." I whisper.

"Not even just a little bit of making out?" He says slyly. I roll my eyes and he chuckles.

"You're crazy Steve."

"You're beautiful Y/n."

He pushes me back down on the bed and attacks my neck with kisses.
