Aria POV.

*The next day on my free period*

I was walking towards Ross' locker. I wanted to talk to him about yesterday. Today I was wearing some low waist shorts, a mint green top and green sandel wedges. I had my moms black bag with me again. Ross wasn't at his locker so I decided to get some food in the cafeteria. And there he was, sitting at a table with his laptop and a sandwich. I quickly bought a salami pizza slice and a bottle of water and walked over to the table Ross was sitting at. "Hey Ross." I said. He looked up at me, "Hey." "Can I sit with you?" I asked. "Sure, always." He smiled, softly. I smiled back and sat down. I quietly started eating my pizza as I felt him look at me. "What happened yesterday?" I suddenly asked. "Oh, uh well. I got into a fight." He replied. I raised an eyebrow, "Oh really?" "The guy, Joshua was saying some things about someone and I got mad about that." Ross said, "But can we not talk about it please." "Look Ross, we're friends so you have to tell me what happened because you almost got suspended, you ditched me and you didn't reply to any of my texts or answer my phone calls and I got really worried." I let out a sigh, thinking about it. "Aria, he said things about you." Ross said, bluntly. I frowned, "What did he say?" "Nothing important." Ross said, looking away from me. "Ross!" "Alright, alright.. He said that you're a troubled kid, that you had to stay in some nutshouse for like three months." He looked down. I gasped. Oh my god, some guy knows.. And he told Ross. I'm dead. "Hey." Ross softly smiled, touching my arm. "I made clear that he can't spread those lies without getting to know the consequences." He thinks Joshua lied. That's good, but it's only a matter of time before people get to know the truth.

"Hey Ar." I was walking towards my locker. Last peroid just ended and I was planning on taking the bus home. "Wanna grab that coffee now?" Ross leaned against some lockers as I got my homework out of mine. "Sure." I smiled. "I'm sorry about yesterday, I shouldn't have ditched you." Ross said. "It's okay Ross, we'll just forget about it okay." "Okay." Ross smiled and offered me his arm. I hooked my arm in his and we walked towards his car.

"So I know that you had horse riding lessons from your fifth t'ill your thirteenth, that you played guitar for three years and that you were born in LA but I would love to know more about you." Ross said as we were sitting at a table at Starbucks with a coffee. "Well, I had violin lessons for seven years, piano lessons for six years and I dance a little. I don't have any family, except my parents and little brother and a cousin but god knows where he is. And that was it I guess." I said, "And what about you?" "Uhm, I play the guitar, the piano, drums, bass, ukulele and a little violin. I play basketball, ice hockey, football, soccer and some more sports. Oh and I also dance and sing a little. I've got a big family but if I tell you about that, we'll be sitting here for three days." "That's-" I started but I got interupted."Sup redhead." One of the two random guys who walked past our table chuckled. His friend laughed at his comment. I looked down at my coffee. "Can you shut up!?" Ross yelled after the guys. "Ross forget about it, it's okay. People make those comments about my hair all the time." I said. "I'm sorry people do that. But for the record, I love your red hear." I smiled at him. "Thanks blondie."

"Wanna go to my place?" Ross asked as we walked over to his car, an hour later. "Sure." I said. We got into his car and Ross started driving as my phone went off.

"Hello?" I said into my phone. "Where are you?!" My moms shrill voice yelled. "I'm with a friend, we just had coffee and we're going to his place right now. Why? Something up?" I said. "I thought our deal was that you came home straight after school." "Well you thought wrong because we never talked about that." I said, annoyed. "I want you home, now!" My mom said, angrily. "And I want you to act normal towards me but is that happening? No, you hate me. You know what, I hate you too!" And with that I hung up the phone.

"What was that about?" Ross asked, looking at me. "Nothing, eyes on the road please." I said, trying to hold back tears. "Do you want me to bring you home?" He asked, looking back at the road. "No, I just want to have fun. With you." I said with a lump in my throat. "You wanna talk about what's going on between you and your mom? I noticed that there was something up when I first met her." Ross pulled up a driveway. "No, I don't wanna talk about it." I said and opened the cardoor. I heard Ross sigh before getting out too.

We walked towards the front-door and Ross unlocked it. I walked in behind him. "Ooh, Mark! Ross brought home a girl!" A small woman with blonde hair yelled, running towards us. "Mom." Ross groaned, making me chuckle. "Stormie, calm down please. You're embarrassing your son and then he'll never take someone home again." A man came walking into the hallway. "Yeah, thanks dad." Ross said, sarcasticly. "I can be enthousiastic if I want Mark. Hello sweety. I'm Stormie, Ross' mom." The blonde headed woman said, smiling. "Hello Ms. Lynch, I'm Aria." I said, smiling too. "Oh, please call me Stormie or momma Lynch." Stormie smiled. "Alright." I smiled back. "I'm Mark." Ross' dad said, shaking my hand. "Hello sir, I'm Aria." I politely smiled. "You can call me Mark." Mark said. "Alright, mom, dad, you embarressed me enough, go back to what you were doing." Ross interrupted. He grabbed my arm and pulled me up the stairs. "Soo, i'm sharing a room with Ryland so don't be shocked of he's there." Ross chuckled, opening his bedroom door.

After watching a movie with Ross, I had to go home. I said goodbye to his parents and siblings and Ross drove me home. "Thanks for today Ross. I had fun." I smiled as we stood outside his car on my driveway. "Yeah, me too and you don't have to thank me." Ross smiled. "I still did." I smirked. Ross playfully rolled his eyes and poked my nose, "Enjoy your dinner and goodnight." He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. I snuggled my head in his chest as I wrapped my arms around his waist. We pulled away a few moments later and Ross got into his car. I waved at him before walking into the house.

I closed the door and leaned against it, not knowing what to do with my mom. "Honey?" My dad came walking into the hall. "Hey dad." I softly smiled. "Hey sweety, how was your day?" I could tell my parents had been fighting again. "Good, great actually." I smiled. "Good to hear. You're mom and Brandon are out so it's just you and me for dinner." Dad said, walking back into the kitchen. I dropped my bag next to the stairs and followed him. "Where are they?" I asked. "Out, for dinner. Oh and I already took care of Whisper." Dad replied, opening the fridge. "Alright then." I said. "Want me to make some lasagna? I think I saw the ingrediants this morning when I was making pancakes." "That would be great honey." Dad replied.

After my dad and I ate lasagne in front of the TV, I went upstairs and took a long shower. I got out and wrapped a towel around my body. I walked into my bedroom hearing my parents fight again. I got into some sweatpants and a sweater as I heard Brandon softly crying. I walked into his bedroom and saw him pouting in his bed. "Hey little one, what's with you?" I asked, picking him up. "Mom and dad, mad." He said as a tear rolled down his cheek. I wiped it away and softly smiled, "It's okay buddy, don't worry about it okay?" "Can Dlake and I sleep with Alia?" Brandon pouted. "Of course you two can." I said and grabbed Drake. I walked with Brandon on my hip into my bedroom and laid him down. I laid down next to him and set my alarm before turning off the lights and snuggeling up to my little brother and his stuffed dragon.
