So, I am a little hesitant to post this story so read the intro and please tell me if you want to read more!

The creatures of the first dimension were given the ability to create. Sadly this ability was wasted because the creatures of the first dimension barely had any intellect to control this power. Thus, the world stayed dark and empty for a very long time.

Years later, a creature arrived, a creature that would later be called the human. This creature had the ability to tell stories. They spun wild tales of beasts and heroes, and as time went on, their stories seemed to get more and more chaotic. They told of mighty god who could create storms in the blink of an eye and of giant monsters that plagued and ravaged cities far away. They told of kingdoms of gold and of curses and spells.

For every story they told, it became true somewhere in the world.

A man would tell of a black dragon with lava for blood, and a dragon would be born somewhere.

A mother would tell her children of a fairy who would put sweets under their pillows if they were good, and a fairy would appear.

A little boy would tell of pirates and sword fights, and they would become real.

However, a price had to be paid for this power of creation. No human must learn of their powers, for once they knew, the powers were lost and the monsters would disappear.

And so the monsters, fairies, wizards, and dragons kept to themselves, careful not to let a human spot them.

As humans advanced, they started writing. Twisting their tales and preserving it. When one story was made, it became a dimension, and the world started to fill. Any story could be a dimension. A great writer and a little girl thinking about having a pet dragon both had a dimension where their fantasies came true.

Humans spread to nearly every corner of the globe. The monsters, desperate to keep living, got together and opened a portal. A portal that opened to the world of stories. In between all the dimensions, a place where every dimension was a star, they found a home. A home that was big enough for all of them. A place where the didn't have to worry about staying out of human sight. A place to be free.

They named this land, and her six islands, Libuellia.

The humans and the Libuellians grew together. When the humans created something, the Libuellians would copy it and infuse it with magic. Both societies grew strong and healthy with many stories to thrive on.

However, many monsters from the first days died out. There were no stones or records to prove their existence, and all who remembered their stories had died. They simply vanished.

Like the stories.

The elders talked of great dimensions filled with fire and gold that had faded away into an old Libuellian folktale.

That is the fate for all such stories.

To simply vanish.
