Chapter 2

It was around eight when I heard a knock on the door. I put down my book and headed towards the door. I was alone, Terry had gone out with his friends and my dad was at his girlfriends house. I opened the door and found Leon standing outside. "Hey do you think you can help me with my English homework?" he had his English book with him and I just couldn't say no. "Okay, come inside." I said not able to say no.

We sat at the kitchen table and I helped him with the adjectives. He seemed to get the hang of it but for some reason he always got the wrong answer. I told him the meaning again and this time he seemed to understand better. After we finished the homework, we ate pizza.

I took of my glasses and sat down to eat. "You look really pretty without your glasses." he said. I looked up at him and blushed. He smiled at me and took a bite of his pizza. I bit mine too.

We talked while eating and he actually seemed like an honest person. He had me laughing and he made me feel important. After we finished, we sat down and watched some movie that was on. "This is very fun." was the last thing I heard Leon say before falling asleep.

I woke up in my room. I was in my jeans and sweater, but I knew it hadn't been a dream. I reached for the light and turned it on. I was alone. I got off my bed and stretched. I walked to the kitchen and found my glasses on the table. I smiled at myself and grabbed them. I walked into the living room and found my brother in a full make out session with Bree.

"Not on the couch." I complained. Terry looked up at me and started getting off Bree. She pulled him down and threw a pillow at me. I groaned and then walked to my room. I put on some music and then fell asleep again.

I was running away from someone. I didn't know who it was but I knew better than to stop. "Aly wait," I heard Leon yell from behind me. I turned around and saw him running after me. I sighed in relief and slowed down. I came to a complete stop when he was close to me. "You shouldn't have stopped." he said.

His face transformed into something horrible. He grew fangs and before I knew it, he had me pinned against a wall. He pulled down my shirt and lowered his lips to my neck. He sniffed in and I felt his teeth rip through my skin.

"NO!!!" I yelled and sat up. I was sweating and shaking. My heart was racing and I was really scared. The door to my room opened and I jumped. Terry came in with a bat in his hands. He turned on the light and when he saw me alone he lowered the bat. "I had a nightmare." I explained. He smiled at me and then nodded his head. I heard him go back to his room and I got out. I got some shorts out and a shirt then got into the shower. I took a long warm one to calm down.

i got out and then changed. In a couple of hours, I would have to wake up to go to school.
