Star and Nitro were sitting on two bean bag chairs in Star's room, with bowls of Cereal laying in their laps. Star had a messy bob that was deep blue with a purple fade and a streak of white, a crop top, and old basketball shorts. Nitro next to her had short black hair with her bangs covering one of her eyes, a grey tank top, and basketball pants.
"What do you wanna watch?" Star said bored as she flipped through channels. Nitro looked at her best friend and shrugged.
"I dunno, put on the news or something." Nitro replied. That's exactly what Star did and put on the news. The section were they tell which kids are missing was on. Nitro smirked. "I love this part of the news." Nitro took a a bite of cereal after. All Star did was glare at her friend.
"Breaking news! A young girl by the name of Elise Arrons went missing last night! She was last seen in her bedroom and was wearing a white t-shirt and jeans! She is 5'6 and is 15 years old! If you have seen her, please call the number below!"
Nitro choked on her cereal while Star spat it out. "NITRO DID YOU HEAR THAT!? IS ELISE OKAY?!" Star yelled. "Okay calm down," Nitro began grabbing her phone. "it must be a different Elise. Look, I'll just call her and we'll know she's okay!" Nitro said with a smile, calling Elise. Nitro put the phone to her ear and let it ring. Star looked at Nitro anticipated an answer from her confident friend. Nitro's smile began to drop as the call went to voicemail. Nitro slowly took the phone away from her ear. "What happened?!" Star yelled. "But no one answered.." Nitro said slowly. Star put her hands over her mouth shocked as tears began to fall down her cheeks. "I'm sorry..." Nitro said looking down. Star began to sob as she tightly hugged her friend.
