You tell me to be realistic when I tell you me dreams

you try and change my mind

not noticing that the more you say I can't the more it makes me want to try

you never look so you never see that saying no is the best encouragement you could offer me

I don't need your approval to follow my dreams

don't need your support to accomplish my goals

I can deal with your doubt

I just wish you would keep your lack of faith to yourself
