Music blasted from my Mercedes as I drove Kayden and myself to school. We were late as hell because I couldn't find anything thing to wear. At BrookHill it's important to dress to impress. Although it's not one of those big richy, rich private schools my parents wanted me to attend, the kids at Brook still manage a lil something, something. We were also running late because I had to drop my little brothers off before picking Kayden up. And this morning of all mornings they decided they wanted to fight about who got to sit in the front. As I drove through Kayden's neighborhood, I spotted a couple elder neighbors looking towards us with scowls on their faces. I knew they were tired of us driving through here blasting music in the early hours of the day.

She looked away from the mirror in the direction I pointed before bursting into laughter as well.

"Cursing everybody out about every little thing. I hope she hurry up and have Asia already."

"She got every right to stress when she got a annoying daughter like you."She teased making me reach over and push her shoulder.

"I was gonna ask if you wanted to do something later but I forgot you have choir practice today."

"Oh I'm not going to that."

"...Why not?"She eyed me.

I shrugged and turned the corner. "Just don't feel like it. What time is it? We're about to miss second period probably."
