I rushed out of bed and got dressed. My hair a wreck, I brushed it out as fast as I could, pulling it into a ponytail. Brushed my teeth, put on my shoes, and rushed out the door. "Bye, Mom, love you!" I yelled as I headed to the bus stop. A pale boy with a bowl cut, striped T-shirt, and jeans was waiting there.

"Hi, Will." I waved at him, approaching the stop. "Hey, Y/N!" Will said energetically. "Someone's in a good mood." I joked, punching his arm playfully. He smiled, blushing intensely. "Oooh! The one and only Will Byers blushed!" My tone changed to a mocking one. I liked Will, a lot. I would doodle his name in my notebook, then quickly erase it when someone came around. Not even my best friends, El and Max, knew.

"I mean.." he trailed off. "So what if I did?" Will said, a worried tone in his voice. "I would think it was cute." Will gasped a tiny bit. "I mean, if you don't like me back, I get it." I said with a disappointed voice. "I like you, too, Y/N." I grinned. "Didn't expect that after a year of friendship." I said, chuckling. He grabbed my waist, pulling me close. "Is this ok?" Will asked me, as I nodded. Kissing my lips, my hands wrapped around his neck. I slipped out a moan on accident. "I'm sorry I didn't mean-" "No, it's fine. I liked it." I blushed, leaning in to kiss Will again. His left hand cupped my cheek while his right gently gripped onto my hip. We separated quickly, hearing the bus in the distance.

"We should do that more often." I breathed out. "We could." Will said as we climbed the stairs of the bus. El and Max sitting at our normal spot. "See you at school." I waved at him as I squeezed in beside El. "Oh, my god! You and Will? Such a cute couple!" Max said dreamily. "Shut up. We are not dating. We're just friends."

I looked over at Will, when he looked at me, he blushed. "Here's the plan, ladies. My house, after school, and the new Sixteen Candles movie. Capeesh?" Max said matter-of-factly. "Capeesh." El and I said in unison. We laughed as I pulled out the new edition of Tiger Beat. "And this ladies," I said flipping to a certain page, "is the definition of hot." It was a picture of Ralph Maccio, who was in the new Karate Kid movie. "I know, right!" Max exclaimed.

The bus stopped at the next bus stop, letting kids flood in. El's boyfriend and Will's best friend, Mike Wheeler, glared at me, then softly looked at El. Mike never liked me, and I don't know why. Max thinks it's because he liked me, and was scared to admit it. El thinks it's nothing, just boys being boys. I rolled my eyes, I didn't care.

I was into Will, and that wasn't gonna change. Especially after the kiss we had. It was gonna change everything, but in a good way. I definitely thought about cancelling with the girls night to go hang out with Will.

The perfect date would a day long thing, starting with breakfast at Waffle House, then a movie, and shopping at the StarCourt Mall. Finally, we'd snuggle in bed, learning everything there is to know about each other while he played with my hair.

Yeah, it was pretty far out there. The girls had always bugged me about being single. Max has Lucas Sinclair, who doesn't have a problem with me, and we're good buds.

There was also Dustin, who was with Suzie. But she lives in Oregon, I believe. We all thought she was fake, but she responded on Dustin's walkie talkie one day, and they sang "Never Ending Story" together. It was really cute, but hilarious.

While daydreaming about Will and our date, I was pushed back into reality but El shaking me. "Y/N!!" She said when I finally looked at them. "What?! I was daydreaming about.." I trailed off. "Never mind, what do you need?" "We're talking about tonight! So, popcorn, pizza, candy, and root beer floats!" Max said elated, her fiery red hair bouncing. "Can't believe it's Friday already!" I said as we pulled into the school. Grabbing our backpacks, we headed out of the bus to our lockers.
