Y/N and Anthony Glick were putting away the red and yellow flags: the day had been really chaotic and the only thing you wanted to do was to return home, eat something and go straight to sleep. You had done at least forty saves each, together with two mass rescues, but luckily enough no one had died that day.

You were both lifeguards at Bondi Beach for the Weaverly Council and you were dating for one month. Sometimes you could say it was awkward and you could understand why Hoppo didn't want relationships between their workers, but somehow you managed to do a perfect job, so he never had to complain about anything.

"Are you tired, Y/N?" Glick asked you as soon as you sat down in the Rhino next to him.

"You bet I am! It wasn't long ago that I came back at working fully because of the injury and we did two massive rescues today." You broke your arm while surfing, which brought Hoppo to give you firstly a week off, then you got back to work, the arm in a cast for at least 5 weeks and did only tower duty plus drove the buggy around. It had been hard for you because you loved your job and not being able to help out in the water had been really hard. When you got the splint to replace the cast you still weren't allowed to go in the water: your arm was more open to being broken another time and you needed to avoid lifting something too heavy for still another three or four weeks. Before being able to get back in the water you had to do rehabilitation too and, only after a total of five months, Hoppo got you back on doing rescues, after some physical tests.

"At least I hope you want to have a special dinner. Candlelight dinner full of your best dishes, then a beauty shower and a beauty sleep, so that tomorrow you'll be in perfect shape. What do you think about it?" Glick got near your face and kissed you, before starting the Rhino and bringing it up to the tower.

"I can assure you that I'll be awake to eat dinner, as for the beauty shower I don't know. You may need to help me."

You answered your fiancè with a mischevious tone, before hopping out of the Rhino. You didn't get the time to hear his answer, because you started heading on the stairs which lead to the lifeguard tower so that you could go and get changed, while Glick was reversing the Rhino in the tunnel. When you entered the tower you found Hoppo waiting for you: you didn't really want to speak with him, but you followed him to his office anyways.

"How was today for you, Y/N?" He asked as you both took a seat.

"It was very hectic, but I think I did good in both mass rescues and I didn't have any physical problem." You said the truth and trying to hide something from Hoppo was almost impossible: if he didn't see it personally, he would ask the other lifeguards.

"That's good. I wanted to make sure that it was all okay, you can go now and... you did a really great job in both rescues, congratulations."

You thanked him and got out of his office, walking back to the tower. Glick was there, waiting for you and you smiled at him before going to change in your all-day attire. As soon as you got to Glick he kissed you and in the end, you said goodbye to all the others, before walking, hand in hand, out of the tower and in the car parking lot where he left his car that morning.

Even if it was only a ten minutes drive, you decided to take a nap, so that you could a bit rested an wouldn't fall asleep during the candlelight dinner.

Glick smiled lovingly seeing you asleep and, when you were at home he took you in his arms, without waking you up. You were so lovely at his eyes that he brought you bridal style in the house and put you on the sofa, kissing you lightly. He loved you so much that he would even try to cook you something, but it would be a disaster, so he decided to have your favourite dishes being delivered at home. In the meantime, he prepared all: he covered the desk with a heart tablecloth, put many coloured candles on it and petals of some roses. Glick wanted only the best for you, so he gave you all he could, to make you always happy.

When dinner came, he put it on the table and went to wake you up: you were still sleeping, but this time he couldn't let you do it since dinner was getting cold. You groaned but stood up and stretched a little: the smell which was coming from the kitchen was so good. The dark-haired lifeguard took you by hand and guided you into the kitchen: as soon as you were there your mouth dropped since it was all perfect.

"You did all of these while I was taking a nap? Are you a superhero or what?" You asked jiggling a bit: you absolutely loved every inch of what he prepared, literally.

"Your favourite dishes are from a restaurant, of course, all the other details were added from me. It's the minimum for you." He took the chair away from the table so that you could sit with his help and finally he sat on the other side, in front of you.

"What did I do so special to deserve all of this?" You asked still in disbelief: you knew that Glick had always been romantic to you, but this went beyond all.

"Let's say it's to celebrate you starting doing rescues again and your high support today in the two mass rescues."

He took your hand in his, squeezing it a little. You really loved that feeling: the protection which he could give you just by touching your skin, being loved so much... he is really the man of your dreams, your prince, the one you want to be forever with, marry and even have kids.

It was still too early though, as you were together only for a month, but that had been the best month of your whole life up until now. You weren't asleep anymore: you had eyes only for him and Glick had eyes only for you alone. The food was really delicious and, since Glick was a photographer too, you went to the terrace which overlooked Bondi, with him, and he took many cute shots about you, with the sunset behind you.

To finish that perfect evening you watched a film, you with your head on his legs, while his hands gently caressed you.

"I love you, Anthony." You whispered with a smile.

"I love you more, Y/N."
